It's the most wonderful time of the year! The Nolan Arenado trade rumors are heating back up, and a report by Jon Morosi early Wednesday linked the Colorado Rockies to the New York Mets. Ryan discusses the possible trades that have been floated out by SNY, and why a Robinson Canó deal would be a bad idea. Later in the episode, he touches on some key points that came up in Bud Black's media availability Wednesday afternoon.

The Colorado Rockies rewarded 2020 National League Comeback Player of the Year Daniel Bard for his efforts during this past season with a 1 year/$2.925 million contract to avoid arbitration. Ryan discusses one key factor to his success in 2020 and why he should remain Colorado's closer for the foreseeable future, at least until the Rockies know what they're getting in Scott Oberg in 2021.

The Colorado Rockies have some options when it comes to their starting first baseman in 2021, and the departure of Daniel Murphy really helps in that department. Josh Fuentes showed some real promise in the abbreviated 2020 season, but Ryan McMahon has more Major League experience. Who should start? Ryan discusses on this Tuesday edition of the Locked On Rockies Podcast.
