Jeff Siegel joins the show to break down everything you need to know regarding the Suns’ multitude of options heading into free agency. We break down how the Suns could clear cap space to go after a big-money point guard, including D’Angelo Russell or Malcolm Brogdon, and what it would mean for Kelly Oubre Jr.’s future in Phoenix.
We also discuss Oubre’s market and whether the Suns will allow him to test the restricted free agency market or agree to a new deal with him quickly.
We close the show with a vision for the Suns next season that does not include a big-name point guard but rather a year of steady improvement that keeps the team flexible.

We are joined by Jackson Frank, whose work you can find at Liberty Ballers as well as The Athletic and FanSided, to discuss the fallout from draft night as we are now less than a week from free agency.
Jackson gives his thoughts on Dario Saric as a floor-spacer and playmaker at the 4 spot next to Deandre Ayton and how the duo might fare on defense. Plus, did the 76ers move on from Saric because they didn’t want him, or just because Jimmy Butler was available?
The Suns’ draft gets a negative evaluation from Jackson, but we dive into what the upside is of getting two smart players who can drill 3s, even if the defense might be limited.
Finally, rapid-fire free agency thoughts on Kelly Oubre Jr.’s place on this roster and who could be available at point guard that fits this new-look Suns roster.

With a night of sleep behind us to clear our minds and adjust for the shock factor of the Suns’ unexpected and widely panned draft night, we bring on Gerald Bourguet to analyze everything that happened in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Specifically, we try to consider what these moves mean for the Suns’ future. They clearly targeted shooting and veteran experience, but does this limit their flexibility moving forward, and does it show a different set of priorities for the front office than we thought?
We close the show with a few winners and losers from around the NBA.

On today’s episode live from Talking Stick Resort Arena, we recapped the Phoenix Suns’ 2019 draft haul. It was totally unexpected featuring three trades and them somehow having less cap space afterwards.
First, the Suns traded T.J. Warren plus the No. 32 pick to Indiana for cash considerations. Why did Phoenix have to attach their second-round pick to offload Warren’s remaining salary? The Pacers ended up trading this pick for three additional second-round picks later on.
Next, Phoenix pulled off an absolute stunner. Before the draft even started, Phoenix traded No. 6 to Minnesota for Dario Saric and No. 11 overall. Saric will be the Suns’ starting power forward next season, but little did they know both Jarrett Culver and Coby White would’ve been available in their original position. Phoenix selected Culver for the Timberwolves, but the Suns selected ... Cam Johnson? Arizona Sports’ Kellan Olson quickly stopped by to give his thoughts on the Johnson selection, too.
Finally, the Suns’ final move of the 2019 NBA Draft featured them trading the 2020 Bucks pick via the Eric Bledsoe trade to Boston for the rights to Ty Jerome and Aron Baynes. Why did the Suns do this, and what does this mean for names like Elie Okobo, De’Anthony Melton and Richaun Holmes?
Fireworks were indeed delivered by the Suns, but how does it look immediately afterwards?

We address the opposing rumors on each side about the availability of the Suns’ No. 6 pick in this week’s NBA Draft, including why it might make sense for the Suns to keep quiet and what options would be available to them if they choose to trade back.
We then make our way to the Josh Jackson/T.J. Warren rumors, indicating the Suns could offload their salaries on draft night and get a cheaper player late in the draft.
We dive into about a dozen players we like in the second round either using the Suns’ own pick at No. 32 or late in the second after a Jackson or Warren deal.

Kellan Olson, the Suns reporter over at Arizona Sports, jumps on the show to reset the draft’s top questions in the aftermath of the Anthony Davis trade.
We look at what could happen with the fourth pick after it changes hands from Los Angeles to New Orleans, as well as what the Suns’ plan appears to be at No. 6.
We also touch on the growing rumors of D’Angelo Russell being available in free agency as a result of Kyrie Irving heading to Brooklyn, and why the Suns would be smart to get involved.
Finally, our top questions with four days remaining until draft day.

We’re now less than one week away from the 2019 NBA Draft, which means Part III of our prospect debate series. On today’s episode, we break down Jarrett Culver and Cam Reddish’s biggest strengths and weaknesses in our usual deep dive format.
Culver was the most improved player in college basketball this past season, expanding his game while also carrying a primary scorer usage rate. One of the most unique and safest prospects, Culver would be the Suns’ version of Caris LeVert as a secondary ball handler who can take pressure off Devin Booker while defending opposing point guards.
Reddish is one of the biggest risks in the lottery, but his physical traits and smooth shooting stroke have many teams intrigued long-term. Drafting Reddish at No. 6 would indicate the Suns’ wing rotation is once again in flux.
Would you draft one of Culver or Reddish instead of trading the pick, Suns fans?
