We’re back with another amazing episode with my longtime friend and colleague, the one and only Jessie Jolles!! Jessie is a comedian, actor, director, creator, and overall creative baddie. Tamara is a longtime listener (and overall mom and business woman baddie) who reached out to me from the trenches of postpartum while quite literally nursing her 3-month old daughter, because she wanted to represent all the real city moms out there who are simply surviving (and sometimes even thriving).

Another week, and still no baby!! We’re officially on baby watch, because I just know she’s coming any second now. This episode is filled with contractions, cramping, and chaos. How am I supposed to know when I’m actually going into labor?! I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. 

In this episode, we debrief on the crazy old lady who harassed me for having my belly out, which inspired a fun little segment where you all submitted the craziest/most unhinged comments that have been said to you while pregnant (hint: it’s basically ALL about weight/bodies, ugh). I recount my attempt at having my husband give me a perineal massage, and chat all about the things we’re doing to try and prep for labor any second now. I then get into some fun AMA questions, and drop some HUGE name hints….

We’re going from dog parents to human parents, which is a huge adjustment for the entire household. This week, I sat down with animal communicator and psychic Nancy Mello (recommended to me by you all!) to find out what’s actually going on in your dog’s head when you bring a new baby home. 

The episode starts off with a quick snippet of our actual session with Louie x Nancy, where Louie was definitely not shy about making his demands and stating his many preferences. Then we get into the interview with Nancy where we chat about her fascinating background, how she actually communicates with animals, and some of her early success stories with clients. We then get into the convo we’ve all been waiting for, answering questions like “Does my dog know I’m pregnant?”, “How do I transition my pets into bringing home a baby?”, and “How do I make sure my baby and dog become lifelong best friends?” Whether you’re an overbearing dog mom like me or not, this one is a must listen!! Hi my favs!! As I sit here writing this, It’s 1am and I’m suffering from pregnancy insomnia but I’m still SO exhausted. :) This episode is some much-needed one on one time, where I answer alllllll your AMA questions about pregnancy and IVF.
