Goals are great, but sometimes players frame goals in a way that leads to frustration. This week I suggest how to use goals in a more positive and constructive fashion. And it starts with framing those goals.
How we define the goal is key to whether it works for us and whether it helps us avoid potential problems later down the line.
There's a difference between short-term and long-term goals. Short-terms goals are finite while long-term goals are about always, there's nowhere to arrive at it, it's not a race.
Same case applies to pickleball, there is no finish line in terms of our pickleball improvement journey, as long as you continue to remain curious and interested in knowing more, you'll always have something to learn.
