Look What You Made Me Read

This week our tope of choice is Enemies to Lovers! A fan favourite in the book community and Cat has chosen EWB by NR Walker, an MM book about two guys who think they hate each other and all they have is sexual chemistry but who knows.... We also chat about what else we've been reading and for some reason our favourite vegetables?

FAKE DATING! You either love it or you hate it and we're low-key haters, so naturally we decided to do a whole episode on it.

This is our second episode where we are picking books that "Booktok made me read" and Cat has chosen Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins, the Hunger Games prequel book! It's been a booktok fan favourite and we've wanted to read it since it came out so perfect opportunity !

We've finally done it! After months of talking about this book, we wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Can we still trust BookTok?

TAKE ALL MY MONEY! That's right, that's our theme this month AKA authors we will ALWAYS read their next book! These are the cream of the crop authors! And Cat has picked KJ Charles' latest release, she is one of our absolutely favourite historical romance authors so tune in to see if we loved this one as much as her previous books

TAKE ALL MY MONEY! The Shots You Take by Rachel Reid was the perfect fit for this month's theme. Also we spend a lot of time talking about milk and peanut butter.

Lesbihonest, this book is gay! That's right this is the second book of our sapphic month and we're reading Becky Albertalli's Imogen, Obviously! We also give a little run down of what we've been reading this last episode and excitedly announce next month's theme!

We hope you enjoy! (and apologize for some audio issues on Cat's end, she messed up her settings... wow so unprofessional tsk tsk)

LES-be honest, this book is gay! We kick off our Sapphic month with a little holiday gem (yes in May oops) from Haley Cass. Cat also discusses her latest MM read with a WILD plot.

I Think I've Read This Before? This is our second book we're reading for out retelling month! And this week we're reading A Dowry of Blood which is a Dracula retelling/inspired book! We also go through what Val has been reading and some classic booktok drama!

Have I read this before?! This month is all about retelling's and where better to start than a plus-size, reality tv show, Cinderella retelling, obviously!
