Today's love story belongs to Mary-Janet MacDonald of Port Hood Nova Scotia. At the start of the pandemic, this loving mother and grandmother was encouraged by family to start broadcasting her baking online. Soon enough, Mary-Janet gained a growing legion of fans across the country and around the world, eager to tune in every week. "Tunes and Wooden Spoons" streams every Sunday on Facebook at 2pm (ADT) and includes a mix of Cape Breton baking, music and conversation. Her medium is food, but her message is love.
