As well as talking about the harms and dangers of disregarding ones mental health and/or oneself. This episode was really difficult for me to record as well as post I've hit many roadblocks returning to podcasting. But it is all worth it now because I'm finally back and I'm going to do my best to post weekly but because this episode is quite on the lengthy side, I'll give all my Lovely Listeners time to listen to this entire episode, so I'll post part 2 in two weeks. This is our 100 plays celebratory episode. In this episode I express my utmost gratitude to all of you my Lovely Listeners! For listening to L'Sayz Podcast 100 times, Thank you all so much! I talk about some changes that will be made to the podcast, like how I'll be doing my best to post at least one episode each week, but it will no longer be on a set day. In this episode I open about some struggles I've been facing in my mental health, and how I overcame my most recent depressive episode. I give a life update in this episode and also updates for this podcast by introducing Creative Fridays which will be the type of episodes I'll do on Fridays. Which will be separate from my Monday episodes that are going to be episodes based on series that I do. Which for example my current series, Change Series will be posted on Mondays and every series I do going forward. I elaborate in this episode what I'll be posting on Fridays and this episode is an example of a Chit-Chat episode. Which I recently just changed to L'Chats which I love that because we are talking about some real topics, and having genuine discussions, so it's more than a Chit-Chat lol. I also share practical tips on how I overcome depression. This episode was a vulnerable one and I get really, real, I was a bit anxious at first. But L'Sayz Podcast is my safe space to be my most vulnerable, genuine, authentic self and I was that in this episode. So, thank you all my Queeniez, Kingiez and Royaltiez, to all my Lovely Listeners, for allowing me to share with you all. 5 Steps For Making Positive Change In Your Life
Step 1: Identify the positive changes you want to make in life.
Step 2: Choose one of those changes that you want to work on the most.
Step 3: Based off the positive change you choose that you want to make. I have some journal Prompts for you.
1. Ask yourself why you chose that as your priority positive change?
2. Have you wanted to make this change before? If so, what do you believe is the reason why you didn't? (This helps so that you can gain more clarity on the positive change you want to make, also it identifies the area you may need to work on to promote this positive change in your life.)
Step 4: Research (Start somewhere and don't be afraid to start over. Now that we have identified the changes and gained clarity on maybe why we haven't made this positive change previously. It's now on us to gain knowledge. Gaining information on the positive change you want to make in your life may look like, asking questions from those who may have made the positive change you want to make in their own lives.)
Step 5: Take all the knowledge you've gained and customize it to who you are.
(What I said on my last episode about doing it your way... For me personally because my goal of growing Spirituality this step looks like involving God making sure I'm aligned in His will for my life.) This step is the time to check in with yourself asking yourself two questions.
1. What does this positive change look like in my life externally?
2. What does this positive change look like in my life internally?

Good Morning!!! Happy Monday!!!
This episode is the final part of the 3-part series FUN Week. In this episode I talk about what I learned through doing FUN Week and share the things I want to change in my life going forward. I'm not gonna lie recording this episode was a struggle. But I didn't give up and I'm glad I didn't because this episode came out good and I'm so grateful because I almost said, "ah no ma'am". But I didn't so enjoy this nice, calm episode it's a shorter one. Which let me know if you want more episodes like this or more longer ones, I'll put a poll up so let me know there. This is going to be the only episode for this week because I'm going to take some time to work on the next new series for you all. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
This episode is the first episode of a 3-part series called "FUN Week". In this episode I explain what "FUN Week" is and when/how I came up with it. Basically, this is an introductory episode to "FUN Week" so to give a brief explanation about it. "FUN Week" is something I created, which is one week out of each month more specifically the 2nd to the 9th. It's about taking the time out your day to intentionally do things that are positive and bring you joy. It's about getting to know yourself better, discovering your likes and dislikes, your preferences. To start you will ask yourself these questions down below on the first day of "FUN Week" and at the end of the week after you have done or focused on the things you believe that are positive, that you liked or loved to do ask yourself these same questions again and seeing if you feel the same way. Feel free to use this as a journal prompt as well and I'll put the questions below so you can write them down, I also state them in this episode too and explain everything more in depth. I also talk about how FUN is actually an acronym for Faith, Unity, and Notoriety and elaborate more on that. For answering the questions, you can write 1 or 3 things down or 5 it's up to so feel free to write down as many as you want. This is part 3 and the final episode of the process series. In this episode I talk about what I have learned through process and in creating this series. I talk about how I'm overcoming imposter syndrome and what I've learn through the process of starting L'Sayz Podcast. I also talk about the struggles of being a perfectionist and changes I'll be making going forward. Through talking about what I've learned, I share a lot of practical ways to overcome the struggles faced in process and some better ways to overcome imposter syndrome as well as perfectionism.
