This episode is part 1 of a new series called "Change Series", in this series I'm going to talk about my journey on making positive changes in my life. In this episode I talk about my decision to go to therapy as one of the steps I'm taking, towards making positive changes in my life. Which is a part of my goals for 2023 which I talk about in this episode. I talk about 5 practical steps to create positive changes in your life, as well as some journaling prompts, I'll list them below. I also share some words of wisdom on change and talk about spiritual growth, I also included an L'Quote of the Day. 5 Steps For Making Positive Change In Your Life
Step 1: Identify the positive changes you want to make in life.
Step 2: Choose one of those changes that you want to work on the most.
Step 3: Based off the positive change you choose that you want to make. I have some journal Prompts for you.
1. Ask yourself why you chose that as your priority positive change?
2. Have you wanted to make this change before? If so, what do you believe is the reason why you didn't? (This helps so that you can gain more clarity on the positive change you want to make, also it identifies the area you may need to work on to promote this positive change in your life.)
Step 4: Research (Start somewhere and don't be afraid to start over. Now that we have identified the changes and gained clarity on maybe why we haven't made this positive change previously. It's now on us to gain knowledge. Gaining information on the positive change you want to make in your life may look like, asking questions from those who may have made the positive change you want to make in their own lives.)
Step 5: Take all the knowledge you've gained and customize it to who you are.
(What I said on my last episode about doing it your way... For me personally because my goal of growing Spirituality this step looks like involving God making sure I'm aligned in His will for my life.) This step is the time to check in with yourself asking yourself two questions.
1. What does this positive change look like in my life externally?
2. What does this positive change look like in my life internally?
