    1. Lucidflow: How does a creative day look/feel like for you?

To fully enter to my own world I only need two things: Cigarettes and Coke.

    2. Lucidflow: How do you hinder yourself in being creative?

Is there a way to avoid day time stress at all?

    3. Lucidflow: how do you support yourself in being creative?

To grasp the ideas spooking through my head I often try to beatbox or tapping beats.

  • The Lucid Podcast: 054 Anthony Campbell

This Lucid Podcast comes from London based Anthony Cambell – big thank you for this brilliant treat.

1. Lucidflow: How does a creative day look/feel like for you?

A creative day to me would be to listen to some new amazing new/old music, get some inspiration and have a mix or start writing a new track (More finishing required!!) Oh and eating some inspirational food with great wine….

    2. Lucidflow: How do you hinder yourself in being creative?

Easily … hehe . Time management isn’t one of my strong points and I find it difficult to lock myself away from the outside world and the million other things going on in my life. In addition to my passion for music, DJing and a bit of production I have a full on Sales Management job Monday-Friday, I run a kickboxing school and need to spend time with my very understanding beautiful wife x.

    3. Lucidflow: how do you support yourself in being creative?

I need to support myself more lol . Jokes aside I have supported myself in being creative through setting up a lovely studio space I just need to get some more time in there and manage my time more effectively.

    4. Lucidflow: How did you come across Lucidflow?

I came across Lucidflow via becoming friends with Nadja on facebook and in turn following her and anything she was involved in. This resulted in me booking Nadja for Open London based warehouse party in 2013. Open is a weekly radio show and quarterly party I run with my brother Frazer Campbell . facebook.com/openunderground

    5. Lucidflow: Tell us one of your greatest wishes:

One of my greatest wishes was to play a DJ set at Fabric. This wish is going to come true and will be playing a b2b set with my brother Frazer Campbell on March 9th for WYS! In room 1. I cannot wait for this. To play a set at Berghain one day would also be a dream come true.

    6. Lucidflow: If you had an infinite amount of time and money what would you do:

Love this question, id give up my job and would concentrate on the things I love in life: My wife /family, Music (Purchasing/DJing/Producing/learning) and running my Kickboxing school. Id be super happy if I could live doing these things only. Oh and cooking amazing food ….

    7. Lucidflow: Anything else you would spread to the Lucid world?

Massive thank you to Nadja and Lucidflow, an honor to do a mix for this series . I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed recording the mix.

  • The Lucid Podcast: 053 DOYEQ

DOYEQ is a unique two-man live-project of Sergey Kulikov and Vitaliy Bragin. Due to their extensive knowledge and practical experience in electronic music from 1997, in 2009 musicians started the project with minimal and deep techno sound. Much of knowing came through continual sound experiments and researches. All that made DOYEQ inimitable sound, built on deep and powerful groove with dub-atmosphere, that completely fill the listeners space.

I am very glad they provided their dubness to The Lucid Podcast so we can share this gem with you… mmmmhhh :)

It’s depends on the situation. it can be anything that is not associated with creativity

    3. Lucidflow: how do you support y ourself in being creative?

The music is a part of us. We love what we do.

    4. Lucidflow: How did you come across Lucidflow?

  • The Lucid Podcast: 052 Weisses Licht

A new podcast for you by Lucid Arists ‘Weisses Licht’ (Florian and Robert) who managed to climb No.1 on Klartraum’s Top 10 on Beatport with their incredible ‘Diving Dancer (Weisses Licht Into The Deep Remix) also available on Lucid Vinyl 12” next to Ian Pooley and Vince Watson remixes.

    1. Lucidflow: How does a creative day look/feel like for you?

A creative day always starts with the first ray of sun and a healthy break-fast.

    2. Lucidflow: How do you hinder yourself in being creative?

Sometimes we feel like there’s not enough time left for music besides our 9 to 5 daytime jobs.

    3. Lucidflow: how do you support yourself in being creative?

We nourish our creativity through our daily experiences in our lives no matter if positive or negative. And also through sounds that surround us every day.

    4. Lucidflow: How did you come across Lucidflow?

That was Klartraum’s track ‘Pain Relief’. We were so fascinated by Klartraum’s sounds that we immediately wanted to get to know Nadja and Helmut. After some warm get togethers our aim was to release on Lucidflow and on top to contribute a mix to The Lucid Podcast.

    5. Lucidflow: Tell us one of your greatest wishes:

Our greatest goal is to reach out to people through our music and to inspire our listeners who feel emotionally attached to our songs. Sometimes music expresses more than words ever could and this is what we hope to accomplish.

    6. Lucidflow: If you had an infinite amount of time and money what would you do:

We’d set up a small but decent studio with some analog synths and gear and spend a lot of time there tweaking and producing new individual sounds on a daily basis.

    7. Lucidflow: Anything else you would spread to the Lucid world?

LucidSounds are a must-have for self-development through expanding our consciousness.

  • The Lucid Podcast: 051 Jon Donson

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you dear Lucid Friends. We are back with some fresh pleasure from our freshest Lucid Artist – Jon Donson. Check out his interview and not to forget his new release on Lucidflow LF050 ‘LaCle’ – it’s totally awesome!!!

    1. Lucidflow: How does a creative day look/feel like for you?

In the mornings I turn on the gear in my studio and just go with the flow especially if I had some great encounters and experiences e.g. with friends or a wicked and inspiring gig.

    2. Lucidflow: How do you hinder yourself in being creative?

What hinders me the most is boring paper work and fighting with authorities and bureaucracy. Thankfully these days are rare. :-)

    3. Lucidflow: how do you support y ourself in being creative?

I am most inspired by the nights I perform gigs where I get direct response on my own productions or also on certain tunes that give me new ideas. Besides that I am a big Jazz fan. This is also where I get inspiration from.

    4. Lucidflow: How did you come across Lucidflow?

Lucidflow has been regularly in my record bags for a long time and I’ve been eagerly listening to every single release they drop where I mostly find even several tracks on each EP that I play out.
Lucidflow stands for quality and this is what I fancy big time. Recently I had the pleasure to meet Nadja in person and we clicked immediately. I then plucked up my courage and sent her some of my own productions and I am very grateful and proud of my first EP ‘LaCle’ on Lucidflow which was released 21st Dec. 2013. I’d be really glad to be on Lucidflow again in future.

    5. Lucidflow: Tell us one of your greatest wishes:

My greatest wish is to continue making music and to be able to do whatever makes me happy.

    6. Lucidflow: If you had an infinite amount of time and money what would you do:

I’d buy 3 houses in different places each with a phat studio and would be enjoying my life together with my girlfriend.

    7. Lucidflow: Anything else you would spread to the Lucid world?

Let music talk. It’s the universal language that makes everyone happy.

  • The Lucid Podcast: 048 Ali Khan Live

we are delighted to bring you 1 hour of excellent warm, atmospheric and dubby sounds created by Lucid Artist Ali Khan form Canada. There’s no better way to begin the week-end so make yourself comfortable, enjoy Ali Khan LIVE and read his interview…

    1. Lucidflow: How does a creative day look/feel like for you?

Creativity is part of everything I do at work, home, and play. But, when it comes to music, it’s whenever I feel inspired and the time is right. Most of my creative work gets done in the evenings, under low light, in my small home studio setup. I tend to work at things in short sessions, 3 hours at a time, at most. Sometimes, I jump into an idea as it crosses my mind for 30 minutes or so – before the feeling is lost. Projects take on a life of their own and progress organically, at their own pace.

    2. Lucidflow: How do you hinder yourself in being creative?

Overthinking things. This usually happens when I fall into the trap of thinking instead of feeling my way through a composition. For example: trying to write music for a particular setting or audience. When this happens, I’m overly critical, and self-doubting. Usually those projects end abrubtly as I snap out of it and realize the sound isn’t right and isn’t really my own. It’s not wasted time though – everything becomes part of the learning process.

    3. Lucidflow: how do you support yourself in being creative?

On a basic level, I try to keep a consistent weekly schedule and enough sleep. Beyond that, I do long distance running because of the mental clarity and physical well being that results. It also gives me a great time to go deep listening to music. I also stay reasonably current with electronic music production gear and software, always experimenting with new ideas and techniques. And, I’m fortunate to collaborate (almost weekly) with friend, Joe Silva and our Tonepushers project. Working together always generates new ideas and insights, and is all around inspiring.

    4. Lucidflow: How did you come across Lucidflow?

I can’t remember exactly how! But I do remember early on, having some very meaningful and positive conversations with Nadja. I was attracted to the Lucidflow “sound” because of some of the spiritual undertones I tuned into.

    5. Lucidflow: Tell us one of your greatest wishes:

I’d love to find a way to bring what I do with music closer to the healing arts – to use music and sound as a tool for personal health and happiness.

    6. Lucidflow: If you had an infinite amount of time and money what would you do:

I would focus more time on writing music, traveling and would probably buy more gear. (lol) . I’m interested in Japan and Germany and would love to spend time there, assuming I could manage to bring my family with me!

    7. Lucidflow: Anything else you would spread to the Lucid world?

    Meditate often and stay magical!
