This week, while we all wait for the jury verdict, Caroline and Liz speak with Polly Rippon – a former court reporter with 20 years' experience. In this interview, we hear why judges are eager to see more reporters in their courtrooms. 

Polly has told her court reporting students, “You might be in court and feel almost as if you’re intruding a bit into someone’s life. But actually you have to think of the greater good that you’re doing: you’re telling members of the public what's happening in court, that the courts are functioning properly, that the police are doing their job.”
