We are always discussing how a morning routine can set you up for success. Today I focus on a weekly cleaning reset routine. My day is typically Sunday for cleaning, resetting, and more in-depth self-care. Discussing why it's important to have multiple routines; daily, weekly, seasonal, etc. Routines help define boundaries for ourselves and keep us on course to focus on our goals. A clutter-free space is imperative to creativity.

We don't allow ourselves to let go and be still without harping on it. Forcing us to believe we aren't accomplishing anything and we don't deserve this stillness.
When we are still we are coming face to face with all the scary things. The more often we find the calm moments we are able to sit still and welcome in all thoughts. When we start to do this process it tends to be the negative thoughts. The ego shows up and tells us all the things that we are not doing. The judgment starts to sink in. Instead allow yourself to ask, "Why am I angry?", "What's the root cause of the problem?", "What's actually frustrating me at this moment?"
The more we practice allowing all thoughts to come in, we begin to welcome both the good and bad. Since doing this work, I've found myself much more calm and okay with being still.
I have lots of scenarios sharing ways I could have chosen calmness or stillness that would have helped the scenario have a more positive outcome.

Back from a long beach weekend in Strathmere, NJ. Uncovering the balance we find when we take the time to dress our minds for the day. Often we get to this place of feeling overwhelmed which causes us to spiral. Today I share a few tricks and how I'm able to harness myself when things go awry. The self-care, morning routine, or brief breathing exercises in times of stress really help us to take on all of life's challenges. Even though we wish the world could just STOP sometimes, the reality is it won't and it never will. Although, we can take action to prepare us for those moments.

You get dressed in the morning, so why not get dressed mentally too?

This summer has been really busy for me. Not only am I involved in many activities and jobs, but I am also finding ways to prioritize my time and own my biggest weakness; time management. Today's episode is filled with quite a few quotes I've been carrying around in my "notes" on my phone, and break them down a bit more and why they spoke to me. We can view weaknesses in ways that can be positive, and supportive and look for our personal room for growth. Instead of negatively talking to ourselves about how we should be better.

July marks Fibroid Awareness Month, an opportunity to raise awareness for uterine fibroids, which are noncancerous growths of the uterus that impact an estimated 26 million women nationwide.
"Pregnancy in and of itself, after, or in spite of infertility is quite the double-edged sword; it seems too precious to believe in any regard. No two journeys are the same. Infertility will always be part of my story, and one that I will always speak candidly about in the hopes of connecting with other prospective parents. If you're reading this or listening to this episode and you're still in the season of waiting and wondering with nearly reckless abandon, I'm sending you bravery and joy as you discover and learn what will bring you the very thing you're hoping for. Ask the questions, advocate for yourself, and find joy wherever you can (especially in the most unexpected of places) - those magic moments add up." -Hil

As I approached the mic on the last day of my 34th year of life, I notice this comparison of aesthetics and materialistic things. But I also know as you furnish a home it makes it feel more like a home, instead of a place you occupy.
Today I'm filling you in on little things to keep that hype up about the space you are currently in and remind you it's a process and it takes time. Just look back a year and see all you have done as well.
