Make Trades Great Again

The guys are out this week but we wanted to revisit one of our most downloaded episodes. A year ago Chad joined us as we talked about the next generation of apprentices and how things are changing in the trades.

Training today's youth has evolved in ways we probably didn't expect. The controversial "Apprentice Pod" concept, first talked about here on the MTGA podcast was introduced by none other than our very own Eric Aune here in this episode! Lol, part two to this train wreck will air next week. We hope you enjoy it again or for the first time, just don't tell Chad he did a good job.

We're looking back on some of our most downloaded episodes this week. Episode #6 "The Greatest Journeyman" is in the top three for listened to by our awesome audience so we thought why not take a look back, see if we could expand on the topic of what it takes to be a great journeyman.

Or what it takes to be a bad journeyman...either way we hope you enjoy this episode and thanks to everyone from us here at MTGA for listening!

Ditch the canvas and denim. There are so many types of work clothing you should be looking into. If you're interested you can use Eric's Truewerk discount code:MECHANICAL15 to save a little bit of dough. Those Carhartt pants, were they your dad's?

By request: What's your guys' thoughts on visible tattoos and service techs?

The guys invite Chad back to talk about service workers and face tattoos. The conversation is extended out into the IG universe to hear from some friends in different trades as well. In the end we learn that Andy's nana needs some welding done at her house and Chad is way into Starter hats. Ugh, its a long one lol.
