After years of playing softball, Gabrielle (AKA Gabby, now that we’re on a nickname basis), went to school to continue college softball. After realizing college wasn’t for her, she decided to join the military. Gabby shares how she made the decision, the process of training, leaving her friends and family behind, and a typical work day/ week in the military. She spent a lot of her weekday fun out drinking and talks about the toxic drinking culture and mental health challenges that came from her job.
