Which Arizona State Sun Devils football running back will be the lead guy this year? The Arizona State Sun Devils football program will be reloading the position after watching Rachaad White depart for the NFL and teammate Deamonte "Chip" Trayanum leave for the Ohio State Buckeyes football program via the transfer portal. Replacing them will be third-year man Daniyel Ngata and incoming transfer Xazavien Valladay via the Wyoming Cowboys football program by way of the transfer portal. The former of the bunch, Daniyel Ngata, served a prominent role for the Sun Devils in 2021 and he will perhaps be the team's lead back for 2022. In a worst-case scenario, he will serve as a backup to Valladay, but regardless we can safely anticipate a large role for him in the Arizona State Sun Devils' football offense this year. Host Richie Bradshaw makes some predictions on Ngata's potential box score numbers both as a runner and even as a receiver plus a touchdown total for each. Richie is certainly high on Daniyel Ngata this year, comparing the young man to former Arizona State Sun Devils football standout Eno Benjamin, but are his predictions fair or otherworldly?
