In this episode, Kristy and Brad describe the "Accountability Quandary."
No organization can succeed unless it has built the conditions needed to gain and sustain trust from stakeholders (customers, investors, and employees) that you'll deliver on your commitments. We call this factor Confidence. A key component to building such confidence is Accountability.
Virtually all companies talk about accountability, but the reality often doesn't match the aspiration. More often than not, accountability is muddled, rewards are misapplied, consequences are watered down or never occur, and people don’t see the direct connection between results and recognition. In matrixed organizations, accountability can become a quandary.
Kristy shares an example of how one organization addressed their accountability issue, and Brad offers some quick tips for how to make accountability happen.
