In this session, Ajahn Kovilo teaches the third Foundation of Mindfulness as being "The Sati Mantra" and will suggest - along with instructions - that practitioners memorize the following phrase from the Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta:

- "Citte cittānupassī viharati ātāpī sampajāno satimā vineyya loke abhijjhādomanassaṃ."

- "One remains focused on mind in & of itself—ardent, alert, & mindful—putting aside greed & distress with reference to the world.”
