In this episode, we hear from Lillian. Lillian grew up in Uganda in poverty. She tells us her story of growing up and gaining a Compassion International sponsor. She talks about the hope she found in Jesus through the Compassion program and her sponsor's words. Now she works for Compassion in Uganda! She has come from a life of difficult poverty in Uganda to find hope, joy, and success. Growing up an orphan, she lacked basic needs including the love of a family, shelter, and sustenance. At age nine she was registered in the Compassion program and was sponsored by a loving family in Australia. Her future was changed forever as she learned what it meant to be provided for and loved, and that God never fails.
