  • Being Visible Without Being on Social Media

Is it possible to create quality content without being online every day?

Stepping away and taking a break from social media is important, not just for our mental health but our general wellbeing. A social media detox every once in a while allows us to prioritize ourselves and focus on other activities.

But this may be a struggle for many business people since online visibility is crucial to building long-term momentum and growth. It allows us to connect with customers, increase brand awareness, and boost our leads and sales. So there really is that pull towards having to go online every day to check social engagement and post and post and post.

In this episode, I talk about how to be visible on social media and provide quality content and value without being on social media. How can you use content organically and ads strategically to keep your organic content full and alive for your viewers to continue coming back, without being online 24/7?

Discover why batch creating is important, how schedules are helpful, how to delegate, and learn and apply these tips and tricks for you to enjoy your time outside social media without having to worry about your content and customers.

    Share-worthy Quotes:

“Determine one to two main content avenues for yourself and how you're going to produce that content and what that content will look like.

“Make sure you have a team that will take your content, create multiple pieces of content from that one piece and post it for you, so you don't have to go on social media just to be visible.”

“Don't post just to post. Don't post just to be visible. Post because it's going to make an impact on your audience because it's good content.”

  • Simplify Your Marketing

Are you suffering from the dreaded condition known as multiple and overtly complex offers? Free offers like webinars, ebooks, challenges, and paid offers such as tiny $27 products, mid-ticket DIY programs, high ticket masterminds, and more?

Are you testing a million things at one time instead of hyper focusing, which ultimately leads to your marketing efforts suffering?

It’s time to start fresh so you can hit that high profit margin and that comes with one ultimate goal: simplify.

In your attempt to hit all the notes and try to sell as many offers as you can and solve all your clients’ pain points, you’re actually doing them a disservice. Instead, hone in on one or two offers and have that laser focus to enhance your marketing.

We know it’s super tempting to try and stuff everything in your one offer, or have 15 different funnels to sell to a dozen different types of clients and market to various audiences, but putting your eggs all over the place will drain you of your precious time and energy.

Listen up and listen good so you’ll know how we at the JW Agency implement this in our GPS Method to help you kick some butt in 2021!

    Share-worthy Quotes:

“It might sound crazy to have six plus offers, but believe me, hundreds of us fall victim to this.”

“Wouldn't you rather simplify your marketing and focus on a single offer and funnel?”

“One piece of advice I can give you for 2021: simplify.”

  • How To Know If You're Ready For Facebook Ads

Having the perfect ad formula is only half the battle. Knowing if you’re ready to roll out those scroll-stopping, click-worthy ads is vital to the success of your marketing.

I get asked this question a lot, “Is my offer ready for ads?”, and it’s a fair question. Whether you’ve sold your offer organically, haven’t sold your offer at all, or sold it here and there in ads, I want you to stop and ask yourself if you’re really ready for ads.

So before you waste another dollar on paid ads, I put together the key components you should have in place so that 1) your ads will have more success and 2) you will feel confident turning them on knowing you checked off all the boxes.

And if you check all the boxes, you know you’re ready for ads, but you want help - The JW Agency can help take what you have, apply innovative and cutting edge marketing strategies, and turn it into a successful, profitable campaign.

    Share-worthy Quotes:

“When spending money on paid advertising, you always want to have a goal of generating revenue.”

“If you've never sold your offer before and you want to test it out on Facebook ads first, YOU CAN!”

“Investing in testing means you're okay with putting money towards testing knowing that you may not get any return on your investment.”

“Facebook is not a place to guess. It's a place to test and understand and analyze the data.”

  • The Perfect Ad Formula

Creating click-worthy ads is what we all aim for. Ads that attract our ideal clients, brings us qualified traffic to our funnel, and assists in generating sales with our products and offerings.

However, creating an ad that slows the scroll and generates the click can be difficult. This is where the majority of people struggle. If you can’t create an ad that truly resonates your message, attracts your ideal client and stands out from the masses - then it’s doomed.

That’s why at The JW Agency we use our Perfect Ad Formula and I’m diving into the entire formula in this episode.

Do we customize it or go off-script sometimes? Absolutely! However, using this as a guideline for 80%+ of our clientele has produced consistent results.

There is so much competition and I want to give you an edge so you can start creating drool-worthy ads that people are happily clicking on so you can reach your goals faster and cheaper.

Get your pen and paper out and get ready to write down this step-by-step formula!

  • 5 Lessons Learned in 2020

We can’t truly welcome 2021 without looking back at the year that was. 2020 was massively polarizing as it has been difficult for most people yet surprisingly rewarding in some aspects for others. Depending on what industry and niche your business is in, 2020 has hit us each differently.

Whatever the case may be, there are experiences to be valued and lessons to be learned as we reflect on the past year. We can grow stronger and wiser by revisiting both our mistakes and successes, defeats and victories until we come up with a comprehensive understanding of who we are and how we can move forward in 2021.

Change. Process. Train. Help. These are just some of the lessons I learned and will drop on you in this episode.

Prepare. Activate. Refine. Simplify. Hopefully after listening to this episode you’ll feel empowered moving into 2021.

How these all fit in together and tie in with your goals for the coming year - that’s entirely up to you. I’m giving you my personal lessons learned and my ah-ha moments and I hope you can walk away with your own ah-ha’s.

    Share-worthy Quotes:

“Change is inevitable and can creep up on us fast and alter our lives completely without our consent.”

“On being active in social media, I've realized that posting about my personal life creates a strong relationship with my audience.”

“Updating and refining your processes never ends. That never stops. And if it does, you should be worried because you're probably outdating everything you're doing.”

“However you can simplify your life and get help so that you're a happier mom or a happier wife, or just a happier person in general - do it and don't feel guilty about it.”

  • Map Out Your 2021 Strategy

To say that 2020 has been a challenging year is a HUGE understatement. And so I know that everyone - myself included - is itching to plan for 2021 and see what the coming year has in store for us.

Instead of guessing, hoping, or wishing that you meet your 2021 revenue and profitability goals, start 2021 fully prepared so you can hit your goals with ease & confidence.

That means no more spending $100 here or $300 there and crossing your fingers that you get enough people registered for your webinar and get enough sales to meet your goals. Instead strategically map out your revenue, sales, and budget so you hit your goals every single time.

Put in your earbuds, turn up the volume, and let’s start planning out your 2021 together.

    Share-worthy Quotes:

“Going into 2021 with unrealistic expectations is definitely not going to pan out well for you.”

  • Part 2: Is your Offer or Ads the Issue?

Are you at the point where you’re starting to doubt your offer because your ads aren’t converting or creating that necessary impact in your business that you’ve been expecting?

Welcome to the second installment of this two-part mini-series where we’re diagnosing which of these two aren’t really working out: is your offer or your ads the real issue?

In the last episode, we dissected if your offer was the culprit to a non-profitable funnel. In this episode I want you to be able to diagnose if your traffic is the reason your funnel isn’t converting.

From your cost-per-click to your messaging to your targeting, not getting these right can absolutely have your campaign suffering. This could result in attracting the wrong people or not getting enough people to your funnel.

Analyzing your data, diagnose the issue, and follow my tips for fixing this today.

    Share-worthy Quotes:

“You need data in order to know if your ads are working or not!”

“Always look at your profitability, make sure it's working for you.”

“If your messaging and creatives are off, you’ll see it in your cost per click and click through rates.”

  • Part 1: Is your Offer or Ads the Issue?

You’ve cemented your offer. You’ve tweaked your messaging according to how you think your market will respond. And you’ve engineered your ad spend to match your offer. And yet, you still aren’t converting.

You need to diagnose the problem - and fast! Because if you don’t, before you know it, you’ve already put x amount of dollars on your campaign - one that’s not really getting any positive, effective response from your audience or target market.

So how can you determine if the issue is with your offer or with your ads?

Today we’re diagnosing your offer to determine if your offer is the reason your funnel isn’t converting. I’m giving away tangible steps you can implement today to ensure your offer is not the culprit.

Don’t wait! You better fix your offer soon before your entire ship sinks!

    Share-worthy Quotes:

“If you are getting traffic to your page and it's not converting, then something is OFF!”

“Confusion on the user's end will kill the conversion.”

“When it comes to language in your marketing, always explain it, like you're talking to a six-year-old.”

“It's all about testing. If it's not converting well, and you've made a few tweaks and it's still not converting, then my go-to is to always simplify.”

“Clear benefits help someone to know immediately what the offer can help them with and how it can help them reach their goals.”

  • The GPS Method: Phase 5 - Optimize and Scale

What’s the essence of your business if you don’t intend for it to grow in size and profit?

Intimidating as it may seem, it’s a fair question to ask yourself as a business owner, whether you’re a coach/consultant, selling physical products, service-based business, or a local mom-and-pop shop. It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out or looking to bring your business to another level, growing your business should be the ultimate goal.

The 5th and last phase of the GPS Method is all about how to optimize and scale. This is after you’ve already successfully applied phases 1 to 4.

This phase is all about following the data and allowing it to tell you exactly what’s working well, what’s broken, and how to troubleshoot. You’ll identify the bottlenecks in the campaign so that you can tweak, optimize, and get better results.

Once you’ve been able to optimize your campaigns and they are working effectively and are profitable, now it’s time to scale up! Scaling can be a beast, but with the right strategies and methodologies you can scale up your advertising budget and be able to impact more lives and make more money.

    Share-worthy Quotes:

“Take ownership of your ads, even if just a little, so that you can feel 100% confident that they are performing to the standards you expect.”

“When you're making consistent sales and your funnel works, then it's time to scale.”

“If you don’t know that you're putting $1 in and getting $4 out, then you don't know it's time to scale. And scaling your budget means scaling your revenue. So you should know your numbers!”

  • The GPS Method: Phase 4 - Close

We’re almost at the finish line - or in this case, the bottom of the funnel. Phase 4 of the GPS method is all about closing. As with any sales process, closing the sale is the most gut-wrenching, nerve-wracking, and in extreme circumstances, even vomit-inducing. I kid you not, this is a thing. But it doesn’t have to be that way!

Closing the sale can be one of the most exciting and enjoyable phases of the business. And if you’re like me and you love the thrill of the chase or going for the “kill”, then this is also your favorite phase.

The goal of the Close phase is to retarget your warm audience and direct them to your paid offer. This is when you usually have the highest return on ad spend since you are enticing your audience with your offer by talking about how your product or service will benefit their lives. Highlight how it will impact them on a daily basis - in the process, you are helping them reach whatever results they're trying to achieve.

You've already done the work for brand awareness through audience building in the Connect phase. It’s now about strategically retargeting those people who clicked on your sales or checkout pages and convince them to complete the purchase.

    Share-worthy Quotes:

“Find the right combination of offer, messaging, and targeting. And then once you've narrowed in on something that's working, that's consistently profitable, then it's like an ATM machine.”

“Don’t create ad fatigue! You don't want people thinking it's the exact same ad that they're seeing in their newsfeed over and over.”

It’s your job to prove to your ideal avatar the worth of the investment.”
