04:06 - Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Melinda: “The symptom is sporadic revenue, it's like that roller coaster revenue. They're going to have sporadic clients or they're going to hit a plateau. They're going to reach working with a certain amount of clients making a certain amount of money.”
05:09 - Common mistakes that people make before they find Melinda’s solution: “There are four distinct phases that every business goes through. I don't care how big you grow to if you want 50,000, or six figures or seven figures. And what will a big mistake is a newer coach will look to a mentor or somebody that they admire. And, they try to duplicate what that person is doing.”
06:41 - Melinda’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): “Well, the easiest thing you've got to assess where you are, like on any adventure, any journey that you're going on. So many people they've got the end result figured out, they know where they want to go, "I want to be I want to make six figures. I want to go to seven figures. I want to make this. I want this", but they forget to assess where they are and so that is- do not overestimate that is to take an assessment with, what systems do you have in place?”

    Summary

As a B2B expert in the service-based business, are you tired of being seen as a commodity by your clients?

Do you feel like you are in the movie "GROUNDHOG DAY;" having the same conversation with the same client over and over again in the same week, like a loop on replay.

Are you someone who waits until the last minute to bring up issues with the client or to talk to the client about the account in general?

Does your client constantly try to nickel and dime you or get work for free?

Trish Tagle is an established efficiency and client relationship expert who uses frameworks developed from her time in the fashion and digital industries to create thriving environments while humanizing the corporate setting.

In this episode, Trish shares how to deal with client-facing situations, how to prevent having anxiety calling them out, and "real life, done this before" intuitive style strategies to shape client relationships that are more effortless, more collaborative, and more likely to help you upsell.

    Check out these episode highlights:

01:29 - Trish's ideal client: "My ideal client would be in a B2B setting, and they sell services in digital tech and digital advertising."
02:07 - Problem Trish helps solve: "Mainly the problem that I saw is getting over the fear of being in a client-facing situation."
03:10 - Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Trish: "Number one is, first of all, waking up dreading going to work. Number two, it's just if you have to deliver bad news, which we all have to at some point, okay, because that's just the way the world works. And you have to deliver it to your client."
04:27 - Common mistakes that people make before they find Trish’s solution: "They don't fix the solution. They don't figure out that there's a solution."
05:53 - Trish's Valuable Free Action (VFA): "Okay, this is about mindset. Take the client off the pedestal and treat him as a partner."
06:44 - Trish's Valuable Free Resource (VFR): Want to know what to say to clients when they want more for free? Make this a less stressful process for yourself and download Trish’ script today! www.TrishTagle.com/clientbliss
07:17 - Q: Why more for Trish at this time? A: I actually do work in the client relationship space, but more on the stakeholder level, where I help stakeholders or businesses, get clients to stay longer, refer more often and be more open to upsell, but because of the situation we're in right now. Now I'm switching more to speaking to individuals and teaching them about developing better client relationships.

    Summary

Are you struggling to get sales no matter how good your website looks? Does your website make people understand that your offer would be valuable for them?

People buy things when they understand that those things are valuable to them. It has little to do with marketing tactics or strategies. It’s about what you say with your marketing.

Peter Sandeen is called the marketer’s marketer because so many of his clients are marketing experts. After years of copywriting and conversion optimization, he helps people get more leads and sales from their website.

In this episode, Peter shares his insights on how to increase your sales not through spending your money and time in crafting an expensive website that doesn’t get you your sales, but through having a proper marketing strategy for your website that can get you more customers and more money in your bank.

    Check out these episode highlights:

01:18 - Peter’s ideal client: “Well, as you mentioned, more than half of my clients are other marketing experts. But I would say that my ideal clients are coaches, consultants, and other service providers. I'm very happy to work with anything from e-commerce to traditional local businesses and so on. But I have the easiest time, I think, with service providers, expert service providers. It somehow just feels like the easiest crowd for me to help.”
01:54 - Problem Peter helps solve: “Well, within this context, it is that they have a website. They get visitors there but they don't get leads and sales or at least not any reasonable amount of them.”
02:21: “Typical symptoms clients do before reaching-out to Peter: “I think the usual symptom is sort of silence. They don't hear from people or if they do, it's often from unqualified people who didn't really understand what they're even offering or there's overall, the silence is the obvious symptom that they do see from Google Analytics or something that, "Hey, people are coming to my site," but that's it. Like they can see people are there but nothing else happens or maybe they get some social shares or comments or these things that can feel nice but don't affect your bank account in any way.”
03:45 - Common mistakes that people make before they find Peter’s solution: “The most common thing is doing a redesign project. I've asked now, hundreds of business owners, most people have been in business for years and like spent 10s of thousands on website design. And I've asked how many of you have done a redesign project, and I think there hasn't been yet a person who didn't put their hand up. Maybe one or two.”
05:06 - Peter’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): “Really recognize that, especially if you're a coaching consultant, that type of business, most, like a very huge majority of your visitors will not buy immediately. So, you shouldn't even try to make them buy immediately. Some people will, and you can create ways to do that, but like, that's really not the goal of your website. The goal of your website is to get them on your email list, or otherwise take one step closer to buying.”

  • How to Say Goodbye to the One Call Close – In Just 7 Minutes with Dallas Travers

Learn how to get clients without actually selling
Find out how to turn your sales conversations into sales conversions
Discover how to make your sales process as easy as turning on your faucet bringing in a steady flow of clients

Download your Guide to Flawless Free Sessions: http://www.flawlessfreesessions.com/

    Summary

For some who are allergic to selling, the process seems to be a daunting task that gets complicated than it ever needs to be. One works harder than you should and still ending up not closing the deal.

How do you let go of the pressure of selling and still fill your client pipeline?

Over the last 15 years, Dallas Travers started three six-figure businesses from scratch. Along the way, she's made a ton of mistakes, had some major successes, and learned precisely how to build a coaching business that makes a real difference in the world and supports the lifestyle she desires.

In this episode, learn how to streamline your sales process to make things simpler for you to convert quality leads to actual clients.

    Check out these episode highlights:

01:19 - Dallas' ideal client: "My ideal client is any coach who feels like they work all the time they've hit a glass ceiling, and they're allergic to selling."

01:42 - The problem Dallas helps solves: "A lot of coaches feel like selling goes against who they are as a person. So, they work really, really hard to get a potential client into a discovery session. And then they totally dropped the ball. So, they can never actually convert quality leads because they don't have a sales process that feels authentic to them."
02:21 - The symptoms evident in the client's life before they work with Dallas: "A lot of them don't follow through on their own marketing plans because they've got competing intentions. They want more clients but they don't want to sell and they believe that selling is a part of the client conversion process. So, they often don't follow through. They work at the last minute and no matter how prepared they are for a sales conversation; they will do something inside of that conversation to sabotage themselves."
03:53 - Common mistakes people commit before finding Dallas's solution: "When it comes especially to sales conversations and discovery calls, they actually don't have a process. They hate discovery calls so much that they don't actually practice until they're in an actual sales conversation." "
05:08 - Dallas' Valuable Free Action (VFA): "Number one, get in some discovery sessions, be a client in discovery sessions. And take note, whether that's practicing or not, take note of the person's process and take note of when you feel you've like lost the connection as the client. From there, write down your own process and practice it 22 times."
06:28 - Dallas' Valuable Free Resource (VFR): Check out Dallas' website: http://www.flawlessfreesessions.com/
07:04 - Q: What's your best piece of advice for coaches who ask you, 'What more should I be doing'? A: You should be doing less if you do not have a process in place to bring in clients that's as easy to turn on as a water faucet. You're over complicating things. In order to break the barrier, all you need is a simple process to bring in private clients and to really enroll them without selling. If you're thinking beyond that you're making the road harder and longer than needs to be.

01:04 - Brad’s ideal client: “So my ideal clients are coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs, experts, authors, speakers and trainers, people who have the expertise or want to serve others with expertise, even if they're not the expert.”
01:25 - Problem Brad helps solve: “So we solve the problem of the income roller coaster, right, a lot of coaches and consultants they sell a lot of their time. They market and sell and then they have to deliver and then they're left at square one.”
02:25 - Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Brad: “So I would say anybody that is already in the services industry, they're either doing some sort of writing books or courses or you know, those are all great things. Coaching, consulting, they're all wonderful ways to serve people, but they don't necessarily scale as well as a mastermind.”
03:43 - Common mistakes that people make before they find Brad’s solution: “What I'm recognizing as I get older, I've been in this particular business six years and since the third business I've built in different industries, I'm realizing like, you know, the same mistakes play themselves out over and over again, you know. You want to limit the risk.”
04:49 - Brad’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): “So as far as the process, we do every mastermind similarly, we build every foundation with the same thing. You can do this right away. You don't need to buy anything or do anything additional. It's ‘Who are you? What do you do in 30 seconds?’”

    Summary
Is it difficult for you to take your business as a contractor to the next level? Do you want to steady and widen your sales? Are you ready to avoid “feast and famine”?

Tom Reber is the creator of The Contractor Fight, a movement of Home Improvement Contractors who are taking back control of their businesses and fattening their wallets.

In this episode, Tom talks about how it’s possible for you to increase your sales as a contactor without overworking. He also shares his insights on what you should do and what you should avoid as a contractor.

    Check out these episode highlights:

1:25 - Tom’s ideal client: “Our ideal client is the already successful Home Improvement Contractor. The guy, or the girl, that person who they know they have another gear. They've proven they can make some money; they can sell some jobs; they can get the phone to ring. But they just can't seem to get to that next level, whatever that next level means for them.”

1:53 - Problem Tom helps solve: “Well, contrary to popular belief, the average Home Improvement Contractor in the United States only makes about 55 to 60 grand a year. And so, with all the risks they take, and this and that, most of them like, you know, most entrepreneurs, you're good at the craft, right? You know the thing, but nobody ever taught you how to run a business, how to lead people, how to sell, what it means to really know your numbers, marketing, and all those things. And so, that's really the big problem. At the end of the day time these guys are, they're broke, they've worked 10, 20 years in a career that they have nothing to show for it.”
2:58 - Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Tom: “It's feast or famine. You know, the phone's ringing 40 times a day or it's not ringing at all. I've got a crazy amount of work and I don't know how I'm going to do it all. Or I've got nothing on the calendar for the next, you know, three weeks. So, feast or famine.”
3:55 - Common mistakes that people make before they find Tom’s solution: “Well, they try it out to work the problem. They just think putting in more hours, more time, taking on more projects, more clients more jobs, that's a big mistake people make. They also, try to do it all instead of what we say hit one nail in at a time. You know, if I'm a carpenter and I'm tapping a nail in over here and one in over here, at the end of the day, if I never finished a nail, I got upset nails, I accomplished nothing. Exactly. And so that's a big thing.”
5:03 - Tom’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): “So, this is the game-changer. Seriously. Like, we've seen this happen with thousands of people over the years. If you simply figure out exactly what it's going to cost you to produce the job, so, say labor’s going to be 300 bucks, the material's going to be 100 bucks, it's 400 bucks. At least double it and sell it there so that you'll have after you produce the work, you have what we call a 50% gross profit.”

    Summary
Are you struggling to gain loyal and engaged subscribers in your email list? Are you devoting your time to write remarkable weekly newsletters that address your subscribers’ needs and their issues?

Linda Puig is a relationship-marketing expert, key phrase "relationship marketing", and founder of Ready2Go Articles, which provides professionally written done-for-you content that helps you market with ease, and she's also the author of The Six-Figure Newsletter.

In this episode, Linda shares her insights on how to transform your email list into loyal subscribers by taking time in developing and writing newsletters that addresses your subscribers’ needs.

    Check out these episode highlights:

01:22 - Linda’s ideal client: “My audience is primarily solopreneurs. Solo individuals in business for themselves who coach, who consult, who teach online typically, and otherwise support their clients, their students to transform, transform their business, transform their lives, their relationships, their finances.”

01:45 - Problem Linda helps solve: “Well, these people want to be able to send emails and make money, and experience, you know, the freedom that comes with that, but they haven't taken the time to develop that loyal, engaged subscriber list. And that's really the only way that you can turn those kinds of people into clients and customers.”
02:20 - Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Linda: “They're miserable. Well, they're busy seeing clients, first of all. They're busy building their business, they're busy having a life, they're busy, right? They're busy. They don't feel like they have any other time in their world to squeak out writing content to email, an email list. Right? Not only that, they feel uncertain about what to write to, you know, develop that really strong connection, that profitable, authentic relationship. They lack confidence often in their writing skills, they may have had a teacher tell them, "Your writing stinks" or, you know, some of them say that they would rather have their tooth pulled than sit down and write an article.”
03:38 - Common mistakes that people make before they find Linda’s solution: “Yeah. The two biggest ones are that first of all, they don't really know who they're writing to. You know, they haven't jumped inside the skin of their ideal client that they're attempting to attract and serve. So, they don't know what they're really all about or what makes them tick or what makes them stay up late at night. You know, thinking and ruminating and whatnot.”
05:50 - Linda’s Valuable Free Action (VFA): “Well, I guess I can answer it in two parts. The first one really is to just start writing. But what I want you to do is to actually open up an account with a free email service provider, and you can use this to practice or you can use it to start connecting with your audience right away. And I recommend the second one, and just start writing to them. I know a gentleman that's an Aussie, by the way, who started writing an email list of maybe 25. Over the course of a year, he just wrote, and wrote, and wrote nurture content. Did not make any offers during that period of time.

    Check out these episode highlights:

01:40 - Hoyin’s ideal client: “My ideal client is anyone who runs webinars, online events.”

02:26 - Problem Hoyin helps solve: “The problem is nowadays, when you do webinars, it's like a one-dimensional experience. You can't talk to anyone else, it's just you sitting there by yourself listening passively."
03:15 - Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Hoyin: “They're not always engaged. That's one thing. The second thing is in webinars, like people may come in, they may attend and they may engage but maybe there's not enough follow on activity.”
04:08 - Common mistakes that people make before they find Hoyin’s solution: “They think that the current platform that they're on is sufficient enough. So, they keep on putting effort in it. They keep on putting more posts just say in a Facebook group, or in a money network. Or maybe they just keep on doing webinars and try to get more like, tell more people about it during the webinars. But the problem itself may not be the marketing of it, or the content, it's just the format.”
05:02 – Hoyin's Valuable Free Action (VFA): "They need to experience what an interactive event is.."

06:40 - Q: What is an interactive event? A: Imagine that you have a top-down map and you can see small circles. And each circle has each person's profile face, and so it's kind of like a game. It gives you the freedom to join any conversation you want, and the freedom to go wherever you want. And that is a huge difference to allowing people to feel like they're in control, and talk to everyone. "

    Summary

'I'm doing a lot of marketing, I think my product is great. People seem to love it when they have it, but it's not selling.'--- As an entrepreneur that is looking to improve marketing ROI, is this familiar?

So, you've got the 'winning product'...and you did your marketing in place. But your copy isn't converting.

    What could be the solution?

Robert 'Bob' Bly is a veteran direct response copywriter with 4+ decades of experience in business-to-business and direct marketing.

He has written copy for over 100 clients including IBM, AT&T, Medical Economics, Praxair, and Agora Publishing.

In this episode, Robert shares how to double the results of your marketing campaigns--quickly and easily with kick-butt content that blows your competitors out of the water.

    Check out these episode highlights:

01:50 - Robert’s ideal client: “My ideal client has two characteristics. Number one, whenever they do is some kind of direct response, online or offline, it's directly measurable. And the second characteristic for me, I want clients for whom copy matters. Their business copies an important element of their business success.”

02:45 - Problem Robert helps solve: “The problem is they are getting a certain response rate, a number of orders, click sales, to their marketing, that limits their return on investment and they want to increase the response and the ROI. And I write copy that outperforms their current marketing."
03:33 - Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Robert: “The most common one is that I get a call and they say, 'We are selling something. Here's our landing page, here's our sales letter. We paid somebody else to write this and it doesn't work. What can you do?' That, in essence, is the number one pain they have.”

04:52 - Common mistakes that people make before they find Robert’s solution: “Other than hiring staff or outside copywriter whose copy does not work, is they themselves do not understand the principles of direct response copywriting, whether online or offline. There are formulas, proven and tested, for writing copy that generates a response. And if you know those formulas, you can be successful. And then there are many other layers behind that, but they don't know, so many people today don't know the basics, the fundamentals, of persuasion in print or online. They don't have a clue.”
05:48 – Robert's Valuable Free Action (VFA): "Look at your landing pages, for example. Here's my top tip. Look at the headline and ask yourself these four questions about the headline, which is one of the most important areas of the sales letter or home page. Is it urgent? Is there a reason to act now instead of later? Is it unique? Or is it something I've heard a million times before? Is it useful? Does it offer a benefit, a reason for me to respond or buy the product? And is it ultra-specific because, as you know, specific sell and generalities, which so many people use, don't? Even though that may sound good."
