How do you choose a pattern which isn't yet laid in front of you, but that takes you to success?
What is to be vegan and sustainable in the fashion world?
Why luxury is not luxury anymore, if it doesn't adhere with the new vibe that is paving the new way of doing things?
I am delighted to finally have Noa Ben Moshe as a guest on the podcast to talk about all this.
Noa is a powerful young woman in the conscious fashion industry, featured in world-class publications such as Cosmopolitan and Vogue. She is founder of the blog 'Style with a Smile' which was awarded as the “#1 vegan fashion blog” by ELUXE Magazine four years in a row (2018-2021) and “vegan blog of the year 2020” at the AI Global Business Excellence Awards. Noa is also working as an Ambassador and a creative content creator at NEONYT, important hub for sustainable & innovative fashion.

If blind, would you travel alone and far far away in another country to meet a friend and enjoy a different refreshing seaside air?
How would you manage all the necessary passages that separates you to the final destination, once that you left behind the last known bus stop?
Finally, is blindness compelling to rely more on others or are rather people who became visually impaired later in life who suffer the most from the transition between being fully in control and being somehow dependent from others?
This interview was first recorded on Thursday 4th of November, 2021.

My experience with Soft Tissue Massage Therapy was fundamental in developing this program by providing me with many practical tools to develop the ideas and methods of MA Training.
My first objective through the university course in Sport Psychology is to gain a deeper understanding of:
The needs of the visually impaired and blind people when it comes to personal safety.
What is the impact of movement and tactile experiences for them.
I'd plan to achieve this by conducting a series of research interviews within the community in order to gain quantitative and qualitative data.
The second objective is to to further develop and refine the MA Training program based on the outcome of the research and to build on the success that I have achieved so far.
Peter Sands (Chairman of the London Sports Club for the Blind) is registered blind himself and he says that "MA Training has personally helped me to feel confident in crowded situations, be aware of my posture alignments and overall has improved my balance."

Sound is energy.
To make sense of it, we human use a complex system which also allows us to balance better.
What then, if you cannot see?
It's with great pleasure that I have recorded this episode with Dr. Michael Thorpe, lecturer at Roehampton University, London, and module convenor for Mind Body and Brain.
Musician himself, his line of expertise and interest revolves around sound and how this is understood and interpreted by the brain.

How would you live if suddenly a terrifying tiger appeared in front of you now and then, or if dead people used your sofa or with beautiful flowers pouring into your cake dough on weekly or even daily basis?
You know you aren't losing your mind, so what is it? Did such hallucinations become more frequent during the covid-19 pandemic? Who can help? Can the hallucinations go away?
An estimate of 1 million people in UK are affected by Charles Bonnet Syndrome and about 4 millions will be in few years.
"Charles Bonnet syndrome (CBS) is a condition that causes visual hallucinations in patients without any mental illnesses. CBS is characterized by the presence of vivid, complex and recurrent visual hallucinations, and do not occur in the setting or as part of delirium or other psychological illnesses. The condition is present in patients who have visual loss due to age-related macular degeneration (AMD), cataracts and/or other ocular diseases that influence vision" (Stojanov, O.,2016).
We talk about it with Judith Potts, who founded Esme's Umbrella to create awareness about CBS, to fund research in this field and to offer broader support to those who are affected by the syndrome.
As a student in Sport Psychology at Roehampton University, London, UK, I have read an interview with Ms. Potts on The Psychologist September 2021 issue.
I was very touched by the unfolding story and I immediately thought that as a student I should learn more about CBS and that as Martial Attitude Training is developing, this should be an aspect to be considered closely.

An incredible lady in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA is teaching that perfection is boring and that you must start doing even if it might be messy. Because "action brings clarity and it is the antidote to fear".
What is the lesson of Pilates to all of us and how can we benefit from this discipline?

In the ever changing landscape of web opportunities to discover people's preferences, what is now fashion marketing?
How can fashion be true to itself in creating, when it is also a compelling necessity to sell what people are asking for?
We discuss this and more with Barbara Nigro, Brand Creative Consultant and Fashion Marketing Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University.
With sixteen years experience in the international retail industry working for high street multinational Brands such as Marks and Spencer, H&M and Mango in over twenty countries, Barbara has also been Associate Lecturer at London College of Fashion, UAL and at Istituto Marangoni London.

I remember when I was a kid and in the good season I was taken by the seaside on the promenade of Genoa, Italy. On Sundays, my father would have had a little portable radio to listen to the football commentary.
So all other fathers did.
In those years we were all "blind", in a way. Television was in fewer houses and even then, not everybody was able to make to watch the match at the stadium were your team was playing.
Now is different. Or not?
In the aftermath of the European Football cup final (Italy VS England), I get the change to ask Peter, how was the match... even though I know he hasn't really watched it.
But instead, he lived it.

Not only we have five senses. Others are the sense of temperature, time, pain, movement and... balance.
This last, incredibly, seems to be extremely compromised when we lack vision, we are blindfolded and therefore when we are/become visually impaired and/or blind.
In which case, how can one then accommodate a good balance and posture?
