Florida State and the ACC notified Leon County that their mediation period ended and no settlement has been reached. They met for one day of mediation on August 13th but could not find common ground. Does this mean there will not be a settlement? Not necessarily. While the mediation itself was fruitless, they mentioned in their court document that the two sides will keep communication open for a possible settlement in the future. Meanwhile, a report claims Florida State has already paid $2.7 million in legal fees.
