Just north of Miami in Coral Springs, Florida, Dr. David Levens has been caring for patients for over three decades. A compassionate and down-to-earth, yet talented and highly experienced plastic surgeon, Dr. Levens is known best for helping his patients achieve natural breast surgery results that complement their frame just right.

Growing up in New York and Massachusetts, Dr. Levens received his undergraduate degree from MIT knowing he wanted to pursue a career in medicine, and returned to New York to earn his medical degree at Columbia. After completing a hand surgery fellowship in Los Angeles, he quickly returned to the East Coast where family is and opened his Florida practice in 1989 with his wife as the practice manager.

People from all over the world fly to Seattle to see Dr. William Portuese for rhinoplasty, many of whom have researched and planned for years before having surgery. When they see their new noses for the first time, they often cry tears of joy.

Over three decades into running a private practice, Dr. Portuese recalls using an Hi8 Handycam, a Dell 486 computer, and photoshop in the early 1990s, long before we had the computer imaging we have today, to give patients a visual idea of what he could do to improve their noses.

As a hospitalist and board certified internal medicine physician at UCSF, Dr. Josh Ronen likes to say his job is to catch the patients before they fall or “crash.”

In his role as a nocturnist at UCSF Medical Center, he evaluates ER patients for admission and serves as the primary physician for patients who are already admitted to the hospital.
