It has been discussed on Twitter that a combination of coke and peanuts is the best mixture ever. Some people even say that if you haven’t tried it, you haven’t lived. The combination of the sweet, savory, sugary and salty flavor started is a southern treat in the US. Many people living in the southern regions remembered that they all had this blend or their parents have mixed this before. It has been said that the drink was from the Depression era during which people could only afford coke and some peanuts. Soaking peanuts with coke meant that they could keep working by the energy from the combination of protein and sugar.
