In the second installment of Fan Fridge Week, it’s Michael Symon’s turn to take the Fan Fridge Challenge. The lucky fan this round is Pat from Peoria, Arizona, whose fridge is stocked with salmon, feta, avocado, carrots, celery, and a few wildcards like red curry paste.
Michael takes the challenge head-on, transforming Pat’s fridge into a Mediterranean feast — complete with crispy-skin salmon, lemon egg sauce (avgolemono-style), and a feta–avocado–cucumber salad kissed with curry paste and olives. While he cooks, Carla offers her “Chef MacGyver” commentary, Clinton warns against ER-level avocado injuries, and everyone weighs in on fridge organization, panic meals, and how to save face when the salmon skin sticks.
The dish ends up a knockout: buttery, lemony, bright, and fresh. It’s proof that with a little skill (and maybe a few Greek instincts), you can turn a random fan’s fridge into a showstopper meal — and a perfectly cooked salmon that even Clinton admits is “better than expected.”
