Yesssss welcome to the 2026 Coaches Series on Footy & Friends!

Thanks to our great friends at ⁠⁠Tackle Your Feelings⁠⁠, we are bringing you an episode with a current AFL coach for the next few weeks. This week we have Carlton coach Michael Voss.

Vossy is one of those football figures who genuinely needs no introduction. A three-time Premiership Captain and 1996 Brownlow Medallist, he played 289 games at the highest level and shared the locker room with some of the game’s biggest characters.

After hanging up the boots, he moved into coaching, a path that’s taken him to Carlton, where he’s been senior coach since 2022.

He’s coached in big finals, felt the weight of expectation from fans and media, and experienced the pressures that come with leading a proud club.

It was an awesome opportunity to sit down with Vossy at Carlton HQ, thanks again to Tackle Your Feelings & the AFLCA for making it happen.
