Middle Class Film Class

The gang comes over and sits this week, as they review the uber-wholesome movie about a guy who thinks a sex doll is real, Lars and the Real Girl from director Craig Gillespie. With a full supporting cast, and a unique story that could go south fast, but stays wholesome throughout, this movie is going to surprise you if you have never taken the plunge. So curl up on the couch with a casserole and some needlepoint, and let Lars and Bianca wash your cares away.

Thank you Cool-ass Yard Duty, Chris, for the donated pick from Briauna, this week.

The gang wanders through the desert this week, as they review the Win Wenders classic American film, Paris Texas (1984). Winner of the Palme d'Or at the 1984 Cannes Film festival, this hypnotic and engaging story of Travis (a self exiled loner of society) coming back to the real world is made real through the direction and vision of the master, Win Wenders. Most casual movie lovers have heard of this movie and may have seen the famous 2-way glass scene near the end... and many more would consider this a movie that feels like homework. Do Tyler and Pete feel like it was a homework movie, or are they glad they watched it? Tune in to find out. No Joseph this week, as he is camping this weekend.
