De-Stress with this 20 min guided meditation (Breath & Body)
This 20min guided meditation, focuses the mind, and settles the body. Bringing the attention to the sensation of breathing, as the anchor of our awareness, and to the sensation of the Body as a whole. This is a gentle meditation, which helps us practice noticing the minds habit of chattering / (thinking incessantly), and builds our capacity to shift our attention back to the present moment, through an awareness of breathing.
You do not need any previous meditation experience to do this meditation, however if you have never meditated before, you may like to begin with the (10 min Awareness of Breathing Meditation)..
Instructions: Find a warm comfortable place to sit. You can also practice it as you lie down on a mat on the floor, or on your bed. Settle the body and then start this guided meditation.
It's best to close the eyes while doing this meditation, but if you feel more comfortable, you can keep your eyes open (lower your gaze, or gently focus on a burning candle).
