Welcome to a special series Madison is doing this February. Using Erika River’s website “OurBlackGirls.com” Madison will be highlighting cases of missing or cold cases involving black girls and women. Back girls and women go missing at a disproportionate rate, yet despite that they receive less coverage than white victims. To get some of these not so well known cases out there and the recognition they deserve we will making this a 4 part series with 4 cases per episode (Except this one! Lots of housekeeping)

This week I will be covering two cases. The disappearance of Iesha Jackson, a 22 year old woman who went missing from El Dorado Arkansas in 2020 and the disappearance of Sacoya Cooper, a 33 year old Trans Woman who went missing from Columbus Ohio in 2021.
