This week we talk about Jesse "The Body" Ventura, a man who's taken a very unlikely path into the public eye. He started out in the navy before moving into professional wrestling with the WWF. He then reinvented himself again as the Governor of Minnesota and by all accounts did a pretty good job. Which is what made his decision to go into television and anti-government conspiracy theories such a strange decision.

This week we get to know Joshua Abraham Norton. He started out as a very rich man in the mid 1800's. After a bad investment in rice it started to go downhill for him but his lack of money did not stop his ambition. He declared himself the Emperor of the United States and the Protector of Mexico and started sending orders around the USA. He was widely ignored in the USA but in of his home city of San Francisco became an icon.

Steven Seagal started out in LA as an Aikido black belt with his own gym and no desire to be an actor. By the early 90's he was one of the biggest action stars in Hollywood. It was all downhill from there as his movies became increasingly straight to video/DVD releases and began to diversify into music and even sheriff work to try and stat relevant.

Donald Trump is a man everyone is talking about. He started as a property developer with a small loan ($1 000 000) from his father and built an empire. Then came books, television shows and fame. No one expected him to go beyond that, certainly not to the most powerful office in the world.

This week we discuss the life of Rex Hunt. Rex is a man of many talents he went through a few careers before cementing his position as Australia's most well know fisherman, television presenters and football commentators. Through all this Rex hide a bit of a dark side, he started getting into brawls with teenagers, cyclists and it all culminated in him being caught having an affair which exposed his odd sexual preferences to the world.

This week we discuss the life of Rick Santorum. Rick entered politics at a young age and slowly climbed his way up the Republican Party ladder. Eventually running to be the candidate for the Republican parties presidential nominee in 2012 but losing out to Mitt Romney. Throughout his politics career he displayed a stunning level of self-interest and was considered one of the most corrupt politician of the modern era.

This week we talk about Adrian Anson. Adrian was a professional base ball player and considered one of the superstars of baseball in the late 1800's. Unfortunately he paired his ability for baseball with horrible racial intolerance.

This week we talk about John McAfee. John was a talented computer programmer and developed a range of anti-virus software resulting in him starting McAfee Associates and becoming one of the biggest software companies on the planet. Unfortunately John was also taking an excessive level of drugs at the same. The result was John running to Guatemala, being accused of murder and ending up on the run. He eventually made it back to the United States in one piece but only just.

This week we talk about Anton LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan. Anton had a pretty flexible relationship with the truth which helped him go from fake psychic investigator with the San Francisco police department to the leader of an the Church of Satan. Once he started the Church he became a local celebrity and built a dedicated following that continues today.

This week we talk about the Gallagher brothers. Noel and Liam have spent almost their whole lives together. They've spent most of this time trying to find ways to take sibling fighting to new heights. Between the punching each other in the head and throwing chairs they managed to find time to create Oasis, write songs like "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova" and go on to become one of the biggest bands in the 1990's.
