Contributing Lead Editor for Smart Manufacturing magazine Amy Bryson is joined by two amazing members of Manufacturing USA's Modern Makers program designed to promote careers in advanced manufacturing. Aeon Williams is a software application engineer for Spark Photonics, and Rachel Swamy is a research assistant for NIIMBL. While Aeon and Rachel didn't see themselves in manufacturing, they followed their passions in science and technology and found sustaining careers, challenging the status quo along the way.
