Moody Presents

It’s the weekend where we celebrate a NEW YEAR!  May God continue to use you to further HIS kingdom in the coming new year!  Welcome to Moody Presents with Pastor Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute. Indeed as we think about our ministry impact in a new year we realize from this very study that God  created us as ‘fruitful” people. God is pleased when we are fruitful. And it’s another one of Jesus’ I AM statements, “I am the True Vine”.  If you can, have your Bible open to John 15 as we listen in on a teaching moment that Jesus is having with his disciples…

WELCOME to Moody Presents with Pastor Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute and Senior Pastor of New Life Community Church in Chicago. It has been and continues to be all about investigating the claims of Christ here on the program.  Pastor Mark continues to help us through John where Jesus made several “I AM” statements.  We’ve learned gleaned many applications for our lives and what we know about Jesus through the fact that He is the light, the good shephard, the resurrection and the life, and now we learn that HE IS the WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE.  John 14:6.  How does this apply to you and I?  As believers and follower of Jesus, we are not to be sitting on the sidelines. He modeled for us what an authentic follower should look like that’s where we’re headed today as we continue our study of the book of John.  Here’s Pastor Mark

Welcome to Moody Presents with Pastor Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute and Senior Pastor of New Life Community Church in Chicago.  Jon Gauger here to remind you that we continue our CSI study.  It’s called Christ Said I AM, and it is all about investigating the true identity of Jesus Christ.  By examining what Jesus had to say about Himself we are getting a better understanding of how to interact with Him.  We had to stop half-way through our study last week where we just started to understand the Jesus’ resurrecting power.  I hope you can have your Bible handy and turned to the Gospel of John, chapter 11.  From last week we began learning about Lazarus’ death and the amazing power of Jesus to resurrect this dearly loved friend from the dead.  But what does this say about Jesus?  And how can we learn and relate to this?  Let’s find out, here now is Pastor Mark Jobe with part 2 of Investigating the Claims of Christ:  I am the Resurrection and the Life.

It's time for Moody Presents with Pastor Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute and Senior Pastor of New Life Community Church in Chicago.  If you’ve just joined us, we’ve been learning all about the claims of Christ these past several weeks.  The “I AM” statements that Jesus made about Himself, found in the book of John, are so revealing about His character but even more importantly how we are to live in light of these phrases.  There is so much to unpack and so much to learn.   Last week Dr. Jobe began a messaged called Investigating the Claims of Christ:  I AM the Good Shepherd.  We learned so far that sheep know the shepherd’s voice and follow him, you also learned about Pastor Mark losing track of his wife Dee in a store and it was her unique and recognizable voice that Mark knew instantly.  The same should be true of our relationship with Jesus?  We have a calling to know the voice of God, to listen to it, and follow.  Let’s join Pastor Mark for part two of CSI:  Christ Said I AM, investigating the claims of Christ as the Good Shepherd.

Welcome to Moody Presents with Pastor Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute and Senior Pastor of New Life Community Church in Chicago.  Today as we continue our series, CSI-Investigating the Claims of Christ ... we need to understand what Jesus said about Himself. You can’t accept Jesus as a good person and then not accept what He said about Himself and His claims.  For instance, Jesus called Himself the “Good Shepherd”.  What exactly does this statement mean and how do we apply what we’ve learned to our lives?  Afterall, we’ll find that early Christians were persecuted for their belief that Jesus was the ONLY way to heaven.  Let’s continue to investigate these claims as we continue with our CSI: Christ Said I AM series today from John chapter 10.  Here’s Pastor Mark

It's time for to Moody Presents with Pastor Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute.  Our brand new study over the next several weeks deals with the “I AM” statements that Jesus Christ made.  We find the first statement, “I am the light of the world” in the Bible book of John chapter 8.  Then Pastor Mark moves on to John 9 and shows us how this statement from Jesus directly impacts the man born blind and ultimately to us today.  We’ll be heading to this same story today with a reminder that the power of faith will cause ordinary to become extraordinary.   Perhaps it is time for you to step out in faith as you take your next step toward Jesus Christ.  Here’s Pastor Mark.

Welcome to Moody Presents with Pastor Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute. If there is one thing we know about Mark Jobe (and if you are a regular listener to this program, you know this too...), is that he LOVE’s Jesus! He loves talking about Him and what He has done in his life and how He has changed people and is in the process of working in people’s lives... today, we starting a new series called, CSI: Christ Said, I AM-Investigating the Claims of Christ. Mark is going to be talking all about his first love, OUR first love:  Jesus.  He’ll talk about what He said and His key encounters with people.

You see…the  more you understand Jesus, the more you understand God, when you really dig into the claims of Christ it is THEN that you know Him better. That’s our goal on Moody Presents.  We  want you to know Him better! Did you know that Jesus Christ said seven times  that “I AM...” and we’re going to look closer at a few of those statements right now and in the coming weeks on Moody Presents
