March 9th: Dale Helmig Convicted (1996)

Sometimes the people closest to the case, by proximity, become suspects. On March 9th 1996 a man was convicted for the murder of a very close loved one. A crime he said he didn’t commit.

March 8th: Amberly Mendoza’s Last Day Alive (1996)

We assume we are safe inside our homes. Especially as children. Our homes, and our bedrooms, should feel like the safest places on earth. On March 8th 1996 a young girl went to bed inside her room and lost her life in the place where she should have felt safe.
