School is right around the corner for families across Canada and the government of Ontario is gearing up to radically change how cell phones are used in the classroom.

Their provincial government is looking to implement a ban by as early as November, so we wanted to reach out to someone who knows education inside and out to have an honest conversation about whether cellphones in the classroom are actually a problem.

The already diminished population of B.C.’s endangered southern resident killer whales (SRKW) has taken another hit.

 

The Washington state-based Center for Whale Research said Tuesday that three adult southern resident orcas are missing and now presumed dead.

 

That leaves the southern resident population at just 73.
