Mother's Day Special: An Intimate Chat Between Me and My Mom

If you lived in a country that told you the only value of a woman was to be a wife and have children,  would you set a goal to become a doctor?      If it took you four hours to get to school via an oxen pulled cart,  would you still go to school?    If you knew your medical degree wouldn't be recognized in the United States, would you choose to go there anyways?    My Mom answered yes to these questions and many more.  She lived her life on her terms and demonstrated to her three daughters that we can achieve anything we want, as long as we don't give up.  She taught us about tenacity,  focus, and most of all love.   In honor of Mother's Day, listen to this intimate chat with my Mom to feel inspired to be the most powerful woman you can be.
