Title: Reminiscing Rightly 🙏
Theme: Remembering God´s past provisions and restoration leads to future strength nd faithfulness
Sermon Scripture: Hebrews 10:32-39, Isaiah 43:18-19, Ecclesiastes 7:10, Romans 5:6 & 3:23 📖
Key Verse: Hebrews 10:32a ("But recall those earlier days...")
We do a lot of reminiscing this time of year, don’t we? 🤔
The air is thick with nostalgia as we remember times gone by and Christmases past. Childhood memories flood our minds as we take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the season. 🎄
Of course, not all memories are good. Nor do we always remember the good correctly, often seeing our past through either overly idealistic or overly negative lenses.
Healthy and honest reflection, however, is important. It creates a healthier and more fulfilling life in the present. When we remember our past correctly we can live today more faithfully. 🙏
