Time for another recommendation for you! This week we talk about a new mini-doc released on hulu, Little Miss Innocent. Who killed Mary Yoder? When the show starts you'll have questions. We feel confident that those questions will be answered by the time you finish the final episode.
We're back this week with a longer than usual episode as Joanne wraps up our retelling of the killings of José and Kitty Menendez. The story is hard to listen to and we get on our soap boxes quite a bit this time around, but this story is still developing all these years later and it is one to learn from.
You've heard us talk about the Menendez family before, but now we are going to cover their story in depth. Joanne covers the basic details to familiarize (or re-familiarize) everyone before diving deep into the trials in our next episode.
We've been bringing you some heavy episodes lately so we wanted to change it up and do a recommends that was still all true crime, with a little less of the grisly. Both shows we discuss this week are 30 minute episodes and don't dive too deep into the depressing and the depraved.
We're back this week with one of the worst stories we've ever had to cover. The tragedy of Sandra Birchmore is something you've heard us reference more than a few times while covering the Karen Read case and other Massachusetts based scandals, but the details are truly difficult to stomach. Even more than usual, listener discretion is strongly advised.
Hi everyone! Mike has been struck down with Covid so no new episode this week. Instead we are rewinding back to one of our earliest episodes, the story of the mysterious death of Agneta Westlund.
It's time for another round of MAF Recommends. But first, Joanne gives us two updates from the state of Rhode Island. We then have three recommendations for you this week:
Check them all out now!
Come back with us to Massachusetts as we talk about SOME of the scandals that have been surrounding the MSP and local police here for decades. We don't cover any details or officers actually involved in the Read/O'Keefe controversy, but this is the accepted behavior and consequence-free attitude that allowed it to happen. Think of this as a prequel episode.
Time for another recommendation hodgepodge episode. This week, we discuss the Netflix limited series, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. We also talk about the 2012 controversial crime drama, Killer Joe. And of course, we also have to mention Deadpool & Wolverine which is required by law these days.
