It's hard to believe we've now done 50 episodes of your favorite podcast! Join us as we walk down memory lane and share some unheard clips from earlier recordings. Watch this episode on Spotify or YouTube!
This week we are back on I-5 in California. You'll sometimes come across the name Roger Kibbe when looking into the story of Randall Woodfield. Kibbe is known as the I-5 Strangler, Woodfield was the I-5 Killer. We also discuss the end of the murder trial of Alex Murdaugh as well as a new docu-series about Jared from Subway.
Randall Woodfield is a "heavy hitter" in the world of serial killers, but for some reason doesn't have the reputation of a heavy hitter. Listen in as we talk about the I-5 killer and his (thankfully) short but brutal reign of terror all over the Pacific Coast in the early 1980s.
After a bout with covid we are back in business. This episode we cover the case of the Boston Strangler (or is that Stranglers?) and discuss if the man long considered guilty is THE Boston Strangler, A Boston Strangler, or an opportunist who wanted attention at any price. We also discuss the still ongoing Alex Murdaugh trial as well as talk a little more about the Sarah Lawrence Sex Cult with the release of the new documentary of Hulu.
This story is crazy. COVID kept it from being international news when a crazed gunman and arsonist killed 22 people (most randomly) over a 13 hour period in April of 2020. This story must be heard to be believed.
We're back with the final episode from our first season! This one was recorded before the end of the year so forgive our brief discussion about the upcoming holidays. In this episode we dive into the story of the World's End Murders, a horrific crime that happened in Scotland in 1977. Special thanks to our listener, Gavin, for the suggestion.
The story of Peter Kürten is full of gross details. Kürten isn't obscure by true crime standards, but he is sometimes lost to history because he was active in Germany between the two world wars. Listen in for more information than you could possibly want, but make sure you weigh in on the most important issue facing society today, would you rather eat flesh or drink blood. Are you #TeamZombie or #TeamVampire?
It's time for a roundtable episode with 2 special guests! Giulia, tattooer extraordinaire, and Nick, guitarist for The Mighty Fall, return to the podcast to help us breakdown a story full of black metal music, networks of hate groups, and of course, murder.
This episode will make you mad. This week we cover a story all about tunnel vision and laziness getting in the way of investigating. When a victim is questioned like a suspect, will a murderer avoid getting caught? Grab a stress ball and listen along.
This story is outrageous. There may have been a serial killer operating in Iowa for the last 40 years without anyone realizing. Except people SHOULD have known because the alleged killer's daughter has been telling anyone who would listen that her dad was a murderer for at least 35 of those years. Is her story believable? Listen to this episode and decide for yourself.
