Stacie, a 16-year-old Naval JROTC cadet with dreams of becoming a Navy SEAL, was known as a protective big sister and a friend to everyone around her. Kristie, just 14, was finishing middle school and on the cusp of high school life. Their futures were bright, but in January 1999, their lives were forever changed when someone they trusted turned into their worst nightmare.

We walk through what happened to the Reed sisters, how Kristie survived against unimaginable odds, and how their family — especially their mother Lorraine — has worked tirelessly to honor their memory and support victims of violent crime through the S.T.A.C.I.E. Foundation.
