My Daughter’s Keeper

In The Wolves of Langston – Episode 05: “Of Clerical Matters”, Dad’s investigation takes a quieter—but no less unsettling—turn. A visit to Langston’s Sun Temple reveals it to be eerily empty, offering the first unsettling hint that the village’s troubles may be part of something far larger and far more insidious than a single murder.

Seeking answers, he confers with the local cleric, discussing matters of faith, fear, and the strange omissions that seem to define Langston’s daily life. With unease growing and suspicions hardening, he finally steels himself to confront the most sobering task yet: examining the body of the murdered village girl. Some truths, once seen, cannot be unseen.”

In Hope’s Last Day – Episode 01: Weathering the Storm, Dad steps into the cold, impartial role of MU/TH/UR, guiding Mo, Tilly, and returning guest Kate through the final, doomed hours on LV-426. Set in the shadow of the events leading up to Aliens, this prequel scenario follows the colony of Hadley’s Hope as tensions rise, systems fail, and something in the storm begins to move.

As communication breaks down and the atmosphere turns from uneasy to outright hostile, the crew must navigate failing infrastructure, corporate oversight, and a growing sense that they are no longer alone. The storm outside is only the beginning… and whatever is coming, it’s already too late to stop it.

In The Wolves of Langston – Episode 04: “New Leads… and New Complications”, the investigation widens—and so do the problems. With the murder still unsolved, the Mayor tasks GM Dad's Walorck - Da'Dae - with a second, unwelcome thread to pull: reports of bandit activity on the roads surrounding Langston. What begins as a routine inquiry quickly tangles itself in old grudges, half-buried secrets, and consequences that refuse to stay in the past.

Along the way, Da'Dae comes face to face with a ghost from Anathram's history—one that raises uncomfortable questions and threatens to derail both the case and our adventure's resolve. In Langston, every answer seems to breed a new complication… and none of them come without a price.

In MÖRK BORG: Rot Black Sludge – Episode 02: “Deeper, Darker Depths Than Death Itself”, Mo and Tilly press on into the reeking bowels of the Accursed Den, only to discover that things can, in fact, get much worse. What began as a desperate bid for freedom becomes a lethal descent into rot, shadows, and bad decisions as the dungeon reveals its true, merciless nature. In a place where filth clings to everything and death waits around every corner, the sisters learn a hard lesson of MÖRK BORG: the dungeon doesn’t care how far you’ve come… only how quickly it can kill you.

In The Wolves of Langston – Episode 03: “ A Multitude of Bugs”, the investigation takes a decidedly unpleasant turn. GM Dad’s warlock ventures beyond polite society and into the crawling, skittering edges of the problem—where giant insects lurk, a fevered druid mutters half-useful warnings, and a suspicious dice roll threatens to derail everything.

As clues emerge from unlikely places and the natural order proves very much out of sorts, it becomes clear that Langston’s troubles are not confined to wolves or murder alone. Some infestations are obvious. Others wear human faces.

In MÖRK BORG: Rot Black Sludge – Episode 01: “Fate of the Condemned”, Mo and Tilly begin their journey the only way anyone should in this god-forsaken world: falsely accused, publicly condemned, and staring down an imminent death sentence for heretical theft.

At the last possible moment, a grim bargain is struck. To escape the noose, they are offered a single chance at survival—venture into the filth and darkness beyond the walls in search of the Shadow King’s missing son, rumoured to be held within the vile depths of the Accursed Den.

With freedom balanced against damnation, the sisters set out as reluctant adventurers in a land where mercy is a myth and fate is rarely kind. In MÖRK BORG, survival is victory—and even that is never guaranteed.

In The Wolves of Langston – Episode 02: To Catch a Killer, our unlikely investigator is summoned before the Mayor of Langston. With the village on edge and the promise of a healthy payday—expenses very much covered—GM Dad’s warlock agrees to take on a grim task: uncover the truth behind the murder of one of the village’s young women.

His investigation begins close to home, with the victim’s fiancé—a reclusive, sharp-eyed herbalist whose knowledge of plants, potions, and poisons raises more questions than answers. As whispers spread and old grudges surface, it becomes clear that in Langston, everyone knows something… and no one is saying everything. The hunt for a killer has begun.

In MÖRK BORG: Rot Black Sludge – Episode 0: Character Creation, GM Dad drags the girls kicking and screaming into the grim-dark wasteland of MÖRK BORG. Before the world can end properly, miscreants must be made—so together they roll up a doomed collection of scoundrels, sinners, and barely-competent survivors who will be unleashed upon the infamous introductory scenario, Rot Black Sludge.

Expect bad life choices, questionable stats, gallows humour, and the creeping realisation that this is not a world where heroes thrive—only the lucky, the cruel, and the briefly alive. Welcome to the end

In The Wolves of Langston – Episode 01: A Village in Mourning, GM Dad steps out from behind the screen and into the spotlight for a solo adventure. Fleeing through the dark after a brutal encounter with wolves, his warlock stumbles—breathless, and very much unwelcome—into the middle of a funeral for a murdered village girl.

What should have been a moment of quiet grief becomes the uneasy beginning of something far darker. The villagers are frightened, the air is thick with suspicion, and the wolves in the woods may be the least of their worries. As the lines between hunter, hunted, and accused begin to blur, one thing is certain: Langston is a village in mourning… and it won’t be the last body laid to rest.

Driven into a fortified cave carved deep into the ice and stone, the Gellhorn twins discover that Vottovaara has been hollowed out—not just by soldiers, but by things that were never meant to march under any flag. Soviet fortifications have repurposed the lairs of something else, killing grounds, and sacred stones scratched with symbols no engineer was trained to carve.

Inside the frozen dark, the twins face a gauntlet of impossibilities: creatures of the frost and flesh warped remnants of men that no longer obey biology, and predators that learned long ago how to hunt in tunnels where screams don’t carry. Every passage narrows. Every retreat collapses.

The cave is not a shelter.

And something deep within is swallowing everything the war has left behind.
