Welcome to our episode for May 15, 2015!
This week we review Daredevil (at the very end of the episode), Justin Bieber gives a non-apology, plus tons of trailers for both movies and TV, including Jem and the Holograms, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and The Muppets. There’s news on the next season of Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter, the end of CSI, and David Lynch comes back to Twin Peaks with more episodes.
In Talk Nerdy to Me, Funimation announces its next Broadcast Dubs and the identity of female Thor has been revealed!
It’s an extremely video heavy episode, so be prepared but they are worth it.

“My Geek Confessions – Watching Bad Movies, So You Don’t Have To!”
* This week we have a few different movie trailer, both are a little questionable. First is the trailer for Jem and the Holograms movie that pretty much is only Jem in name only as it has NOTHING to do with the cartoon and turned into a generic music industry teen movie. We’re not surprised but still disappointed. Second is a new trailer for Minions, which brings back the idea that the Minons are immortal, seek out evil, try to serve it, and then end up being the cause of death of the villains they serve.
* After the announcement of all the new TV shows coming in the fall, a lot of the trailers for the different series were released. This is more than I remember in recent history so it’s surprising. Below are the trailers for the FOX shows Lucifer (based off the comic book series) and Minority Report (based off the movie and one I’m a little dubious on) as well as a long preview for Supergirl for CBS that looks better than expected, and the Flash/Arrow spinoff Legends of Tomorrow which really looks like it will be as fun as it’s origin shows.
* I’m not quite sure if this is really going to be on the Simpsons or just on Rick and Morty but this is a very well done parody couch gag that looks like it even has the same animators as Rick and Morty kill the Simpsons and travel to the future of Futurama to sorta bring them back.
* One of the trailers for the upcoming season also includes The Muppets on ABC. We’ve also included some of the YouTube videos that they starred in that we mentioned last week like Josh Groban and Lindsey Stirling trying to share the spotlight with Miss Piggy and the Muppets. Plus Statler and Waldorf teach the guys at Barely Political how to make fun of things like crotchety old men.
* There’s finally a promo for the new Samantha Bee late night show on TBS that does a very good job of showing that all the other hosts of the major talk shows are all men.
* Funny or Die has a great slightly nightmarish video on if everything was like cable to show just how bad the cable industry really is. We’re still waiting to see if they can ever be improved.
* This fanmade Black Widow opening credits to a theoretical Black Widow movie by Christopher Haley is extremely well done and full of wish-fulfillment (especially the casting) that we’re totally on board with.
