As long as the world has its idols to worship, it will not repent of its sin, including most of us in the Body of Christ.  As long as we have medical insurance, bank accounts, and the internet, we carry on as before. Because we have gone spiritually blind, we do not foresee the destruction of those idols. God's people are overpowered and in awe of the influence of Babylon. Medical science has been a great benefit to us, but our faith must be in God. Seek His healing before running to the doctor.

Brother Singh warns, "Don't find a reason to justify your hypocrisy; find reasons to enjoy the benefits of sanctification." 

In this beautiful message, Brother Singh appeals to our hearts' comprehension, not our intellectual understanding.  Paul required more than 14 years of isolation to undo what Phariseeism had done to him. We forget that champions of our faith needed transformation. Paul wrote: "... be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind..." (See: Romans 12:1-2). 

God brought Brother Singh into this fellowship to minister to the elect. The Lord has given Brother Singh many transforming lessons to preach during the COVID-19 lockdown. He has enlightened the elect and those elders and preachers that are open to His leading. The non-elect hear the words yet remain without comprehension. "For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not." (Job 33:14)  We cannot change that reality.

If our concept of Jesus is incorrect, our whole spiritual life is flawed, establishing us on a wrong foundation. Metaphorically, Jesus said a house built on sand would be swept away by the flood of trials beating against that house. (Matthew 7:27). 

If our understanding of Jesus is flawed, we will follow "ANOTHER GOSPEL" (Galatians 1:6). Jesus said, "Enter ye in at the strait {constricted} gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it"  (Matthew 7:13-14).  The nature of humankind is to desire the benefits of eternal life, but not the qualifications demanded of us. "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15)

(Galatians 1:6-7)

Like the Corinthian church and so many others, Galatia's churches (Antioch, Derbe, Lystra, and Iconium) had all backslidden from the foundation Paul had established them on. They had not only fallen into apostasy but held the great apostle in contempt.

It is a continuous struggle for Brother Singh to preach the truth in this pagan, corrupt world. We are so polluted with false doctrines that spiritual reality sounds foreign to people's ears! For that reason, Paul stressed that God chose us in Him before the creation of the world, to live holy and blameless before Him in love. (Ephesians 1:4) 

Metaphorically speaking, God calls us with a harlot's mentality and transforms our thoughts into the purity of virgins! He calls us from being beggars on a dunghill, to set us among princes! Yet, transformation requires a diet of pure spiritual food. We need detoxication from false doctrines and polluted principles to purify our minds and hearts. Paul feared the corruption of the converts' minds (as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety) from the simplicity that is in Christ (2 Cor. 11:3). 

A husband must represent Christ as the head of his household. He can neither be a wimp ruled by his wife nor a dogma brute who controls by force.  The nature of Jesus was to be firm and resolute in his convictions, yet compassionate and tender in their application.  Brother Singh stresses patience. A husband & father must grant the time necessary for his wife and children to submit to his godly authority willingly.

Using the model of a godly husband, Brother Singh relates the principle to leadership in the church. "If a pastor goes spiritually blind, he can only lead a blind congregation," he warns, "and both shall fall in the ditch." (Matthew 15:14) A pastor must be flexible in his administration yet not compromise with evil. Comparing a congregation to a wife, Paul's great concern was"that, as the serpent deceived Eve through his subtlety, the minds of the those in the assembly be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. (2 Corinthians 13:11:3)

Brother Singh urges our assembly and the fellowship to "stop glorying in our denominational traditions! If we resent the term denomination, he points out that it becomes an organization when an organism dies. Imposing a list of 'Does & Don'ts' on a movement extinguishes the organism's life, and it morphs into a denomination. 

Brother Singh challenges the Body of Christ to consider what we do that displeases God. Let's repent and turn back from practicing any form of iniquity. Uncalled ministers and elders undermine the work of God. Because the Spirit does not lead them, they turn to education and apostate teachings for inspiration. Christ's church cannot function effectively that way. Paul reminded Timothy that this happened in Ephesus. "Charge some that they teach no other doctrine, neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith." (1 Timothy 1:4) 

The pestilence we label as COVID-19 gives us reason to consider what is essential in life and vain. Brother Singh reminds us that no matter how prosperous we are, no matter how popular or accomplished, we all must face death. "They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give God a ransom for him." (Psalm 49:6-7) Careful preparation for difficult days ahead is wise, but preparation for our soul's destiny ought to be our primary concern.

The "mechanics of religion" are a trap the Body of Christ finds itself caught in. We do all the things required of us yet t without love! Our religious fervor is not producing what it should produce. Like the Body of Christ at Ephesus, the Lord may well accuse us: "I have somewhat against thee because thou hast left thy first love." (Revelation 2:4).

Brother Singh did not seek to be a watchman.  God called him to this role. A pastor is a watchman. He needs to foresee the evil approaching and sound the appropriate alarm to warn the people. Our blood is required of him if he fails to perform his duty (Ezekiel 33:6).  God forbid that we grow weary of hearing "disaster sirens" delivered through God's ministry. As God judges the nations, He does not expect them to repent but rather His people to do so. The Lord will save those who respond; He will punish those who do not.

Historically, God's children have been wayward. That has not changed through the generations.  "Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin." (Isaiah 30:1)
