Episode 3 Takeaways:

1) Disease can give one the time for rest and opportunity to research what nutrition we're putting into our bodies.

2) The body knows the score.

3) Wellness includes mandatory downtime, rest, care, meditation. It's your body communicating with you to slow down and get back into balance.

4) In my experience emotional stress lead to cancer.

5) There's nothing more healing then to be in nature. In the sun, hands in the dirt. Gardening in itself is a meditation.

6) Annie's Cauliflower Soup: 1 head of cauliflower cut up throw it in a pot with 6 cups of vegetable stock. Boil for 20 minutes, blend in a blender return to the stove top and serve. 

7) Cooking is a meditation for all five senses - smell, taste, touch, texture your body intuits what to eat.
