"We can choose to bless our children and our children’s children if we choose to walk in the way of the Lord. 

There are many little g gods that are flashy and cool. Social media, addictions, the media, politics. Anything can steal us from God these days. We just have to be firm in our since, that we as a people have decided the our homes will serve the Lord. "

"Prayer does change the atmosphere, and it does heal. In fact this verse promises that God will heal our land. But what this verse showed me, was that He is talking to His people. 

If my people, who are called by my name…

We are His people. we have the power to change what we see. We have the ability to pray for our leaders, for the families, for the country. We as a united front can pray and he promises to heal our land. 

Yesterday we talked about how we love and we trust, we trust and we believe. 

Today let us stand in unison knowing that our prayers have power to change. The rest of the world doesn’t have to pray, they don’t have to believe like we do, but we as His called people.. we have a duty to humble ourselves, seek His face, pray, and turn from sin. If we do this, He will heal our land."

Our answer is simple. We love him because of what he has done and given us even when we didn’t deserve it. We love him so we trust him. Trust that no matter what we face it is for our good. But most importantly we believe Him. We believe that he was who he said he was. We believe Him at his word. We believe he is alive today and working on our behalf. We believe that what we ask in prayer we have already received it. "

"Often times we battle life alone. We think that we need to solve the worlds most challenging questions. We think happiness is something we can achieve alone, so we go looking for it in things, in places, in people. 

The truth as we know is that we are are temples for the most high. We believe the Holy Spirit resides within us, so ultimately our body is shared and it is not our own. 

We shouldn’t try and solve life’s biggest questions alone. We shouldn’t go looking for happiness in things, in places, in people rather we should be looking to Jesus. He is closer than our very breath, may we learn to lean on God first."

My prayer today is that we are a people who are grounded in peace. I pray that no matter what we face, when we put our heads on our pillows at night that we are overcome with trust and strength. 

We know that fear is a tactic of the enemy and we know he loves to attack us. But we also know that our faith in Christ changes the atmosphere when looking at fear. 

So if you are battling financial hardship, troubles in relationships, or physical / mental mountains, remember that you can go to bed in peace and your nights will always be sweet.

• The magnitude of a God made flesh that died for us, sometimes goes right over our heads. Beyond that, communication with God can be intimidating, but we serve a father that loves us so much He not only spared His son, He sent us His Spirit. 
• God is a good good Father. 
• Prayer for today is to allow Him the ability to minister to our hearts, and watch how it changes not just our personal lives but the lives of our family and those we love most.
