"In the King James Version we read: 

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

God is a provider. He will always provide. He is Jehovah Jireh. I am not sure what you need, but pray to your provider. He will give you the financial resource, the health, the job, the family, the breakthrough. He provides, all that we need. We are so blessed to have a father like Him."

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Ecclesiastes 7:9 which says "Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools."

"Truly when others let us down I know we can quickly become angry. But this verse was written by the wisest man to ever walk. Let us not get easily provoked, for anger reads in the lap of fools. 

It would be foolish of us to think that anger can help further our communication, or even the task ahead of us. 

Let’s practice Grace the next time someone upsets us."

This is Episode 433 of the My Morning Devotional Podcast 

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of  Romans 8:31  which says " What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

"I know that in the moment it feels like you’ll be in the pain for ever. But in time, you will feel joy. I was driving down the highway reminiscing on my emotions. I was happy, a little bored, and not worried. It felt nice. I’ve been dealing with so much at home that now that things have calmed down I forgot what it felt like to be at peace. 

I attribute this all to Him. He stood by my side through it all, and here I am on the other side of it and I can give God the glory. 

He promises to give us strength to help us through valleys, He promises to give us peace, He promises to give us joy. We have to trust Him. We have to know that there is nothing, no momentary pain, no circumstance greater than He. We find true healing in Him."

"But this isn’t the kind of success the bible is promising us. It’s much deeper than that. It means we will have good success in the relationships that are built on love and faithfulness. It means that our businesses and employees will thrive if we build our legacy on love and faithfulness. It isn’t about the money, but it’s about the impact and they are two very different things. 

My prayer today is simple. Let’s get it right. Let’s love and be faithful. Not because we want great success according to society, but we want great success in the impact we will leave on others..."

"

"I was thinking and I think it comes from true wisdom. Understanding when God directs us. 

Proverbs 1:7 says The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

To gain wisdom, we must truly love and fear our father. That is when we will dive deeper into the spirit and He will always direct our steps. He gives us the wisdom to do the things as stated above."
