Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of 1 Corinthians 1:25 which says "For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength."
"God is greater i every way, I will say it over and over again and I wouldn’t change that for the world. Truly understanding that my power comes from above makes life that much better. it’s not my job to protect, worry, provide, fight. It’s his job, he is our source of wisdom, he is our strength, he is the almighty that protects and provides.
He is greater than me in every way and I wouldn’t trade it for the world, because of that I need a savior and because of that I get to live life with my Jesus. the one who’s love knows no bound and I am forever grateful for it. "

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Philippians 2:5-8 which says "5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!"

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Matthew 16:24-26 which says "24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?"

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Luke 23:52-56 which says "2 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body.
Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen cloth and placed it in a tomb cut in the rock, one in which no one had yet been laid.
It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.
The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it.
Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment."

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Luke 23:39-43 which says "One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us.
But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence.
We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. ”
Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Luke 22:47-53 which says "While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, but Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?”
And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him. Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour—when darkness reigns."
