Today I want to talk about what we have all been missing when it comes to interpreting, reading, and practicing scripture and lives. Unfortunately, we all have a tendency to look for a dogmatic “this is this” and “that is that” doctrine when the actual power of scripture may be hidden within the ancient Gnostic scriptures, and the esoteric view they hold within.
The Gnostic Scriptures "The Hymn of the Pearl" and "The Acts of Thomas," are part of a collection of ancient religious texts that fall under the umbrella of Gnosticism. Gnosticism is a diverse set of religious and spiritual beliefs that emerged in the early centuries of the Common Era. It encompasses a variety of sects and teachings, characterized by the belief in special knowledge (gnosis) that leads to salvation.
The Hymn of the Pearl
- Context: The Hymn of the Pearl is a poetic and symbolic narrative found within the Acts of Thomas, an apocryphal work associated with Gnostic Christianity.
- Symbolism: The hymn tells the story of a prince who descends into the material world, forgets his royal origin, and becomes entangled in earthly affairs. Eventually, he remembers his true identity and undertakes a journey to reclaim a valuable pearl, which symbolizes spiritual knowledge or enlightenment.
- Meaning: The narrative is often interpreted allegorically, representing the soul's journey into the material realm, its forgetfulness of its divine origin, and the quest for self-discovery and reunification with the divine.
- Gnostic Influence: The text reflects Gnostic themes, emphasizing the importance of knowledge and spiritual insight. It also includes elements of asceticism and an emphasis on the divine within.
It's important to note that Gnostic texts were often rejected by mainstream Christian groups, and many Gnostic sects faced persecution. The Nag Hammadi library, discovered in Egypt in 1945, contained a significant number of Gnostic texts, contributing to modern scholars' understanding of Gnostic beliefs and practices.
These texts provide valuable insights into the diverse religious landscape of the early centuries of the Common Era and the various theological perspectives that existed within the broader Christian tradition.

The term "Nephilim" appears in the Bible and is associated with a group of beings often described as giants or fallen angels. The exact meaning and nature of the Nephilim are the subject of much debate and interpretation, as the biblical references to them are relatively brief and somewhat mysterious.
The term first appears in the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament, specifically in Genesis 6:1-4, which states: "When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the Lord said, 'My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.' The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown."
The term "sons of God" and the concept of beings intermarrying with human women have led to various interpretations. Some believe that the Nephilim were the offspring of angels or divine beings and humans, resulting in a race of giants. Others interpret the "sons of God" as righteous descendants of Seth, intermarrying with the unrighteous descendants of Cain, leading to a corrupt and wicked generation.
The Book of Numbers (Numbers 13:33) also mentions the Nephilim in the context of the Israelite spies scouting the land of Canaan: "We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them."
The Nephilim are not extensively discussed in the Bible, and different religious traditions and scholars may interpret the passages in various ways. Some view the Nephilim as literal giants or hybrid beings, while others interpret them symbolically or allegorically.

According to the book of Ezekiel, when describing angels, it says “Their entire bodies, including their backs, their hands and their wings, were completely full of eyes, as were their four wheels.” However, when we contrast us to other verses, we are left with a conundrum specifically, when we look at the book of Job. The Book of Job presents a major paradox for the discerning reader, in which there are multiple entities president, one of which being the god Yahweh, another being the adversaries of this particular day today, and yet another one being a ‘Divine Council’ of extraterrestrial beings also called Angels. - Observing the Heavenly Bodies: The angels instruct humans to observe the celestial bodies, noting how they maintain their orbits without deviation. This may imply a certain level of celestial order and predictability, reinforcing the idea that these heavenly bodies adhere to a divine plan or appointed order.
- Steadfastness of Earthly Phenomena: The passage urges humans to pay attention to the Earth and its constancy. It emphasizes that the works of ‘god’ on Earth remain steadfast and unchanging, suggesting a divine design and stability in the natural world.
- Seasonal Changes: The mention of summer and winter highlights the cyclical nature of the seasons. It draws attention to the regular patterns of the Earth being filled with water, including clouds, dew, and rain. This observation may serve as a reminder of the harmonious and cyclical nature of the Earth's systems.

By instructing humans to observe these phenomena, they may be imparting a form of knowledge that is beyond ordinary human understanding. Ancient Astronaut Theory, popularized by Zecharia Sitchin, is generally considered a wild theory. Mainstream traditional faith leaders largely view these interpretations of biblical events as allegorical rather than literal “celestial visitations” yep, this theory continues to stir the lines of the curious.For the sake of pure curiosity I will dive deep into these events from the perspective of Sitchin's ideas and some of my own:1. Garden of Eden as an Outdoor Laboratory: According to the Ancient Astronaut Theory, the Garden of Eden wasn't just a paradise for Adam and Eve but rather an extraterrestrial laboratory where advanced beings conducted genetic experiments. These beings, often referred to as the Anunnaki, allegedly manipulated the DNA of early humans, shaping them into intelligent beings. The forbidden fruit, then, might have been a metaphor for the knowledge of procreation bestowed upon humans by these extraterrestrial genetic engineers.2. Anunnaki: Cosmology Core Terms
In Mesopotamian mythology, the cosmology and creation narrative are often represented through a series of levels or realms, each associated with a fundamental concept or element. Understanding four key elements: Ti (life), Ap (water), An (sky), and Ki (earth) are vital to deciphering the myths of the Anunnaki.- Ki (Earth): i.e. Lord Enki/Ea(rth)/Enkidu/Kishar
- Ki represents the earthly realm, the solid ground and the foundation of creation. It is associated with the physical world and is often depicted as the goddess of the earth. Ki is the base upon which everything else is built.
- An (Sky/Heaven): i.e. King Anu/Anuna gods/Anshar
- An is the divine sky or heaven. It is associated with the celestial realm, the domain of the gods. An represents the overarching, vast expanse above the earth. In some traditions, An is also considered the father of the gods.
- Ap (Water): i.e. Apsu/Abzu
- Ap represents the primordial waters, often associated with chaos and the formless, pre-creation state. These waters are the source of all existence and hold the potential for life. The emergence of order from chaos is a common theme in many creation myths.
- Ti (Life): i.e. Tiamat
- Ti represents life itself. It is the vital force or essence that animates living beings. In the context of Mesopotamian mythology, life emerges from the combination of the other elements. Life is intricately connected to the balance and interplay of earth, sky, and water.
In summary, the Mesopotamian cosmology envisions a tiered structure of creation, with the earth (Ki) forming the foundation, the sky (An) representing the divine realm, water (Ap) symbolizing the primordial chaos and potential for creation, and life (Ti) arising from the interaction of these fundamental elements. These concepts were woven into various myths and stories that sought to explain the origins of the universe and the forces that govern it in the rich tapestry of Mesopotamian mythology.

The canonization of the Bible refers to the process by which certain texts are officially recognized and accepted as authoritative scripture. This process was complex and varied across different religious traditions, with the Catholic Church and the development of the King James Version (KJV) representing significant milestones in biblical canonical history. However, this process has provided possible data-loss as well as potential manipulation opportunities throughout the canonization process.
In the context of the unique message of Jesus, there is an increasing recognition that his teachings, often presented in the "red letters" in some editions of the Bible, are extremely different and distinct from certain aspects of the Old Testament and even some teachings in the New Testament.
Jesus' message often emphasized love, forgiveness, and a spiritual authority as ONE with God, which some believe appears in stark contrast to the elements found in the Old Testament and largely within the New Testament.
The idea that Jesus' teaching stands alone, particularly in the red letters, is a perspective held by some who emphasize the distinctive nature of Christ's message, including Marcion of Sinope. Marcion proposed the idea that Jesus brought a new spiritual practice and a transformative understanding of God as the SOURCE, rather than a deity as observed by the status quo of his day.
The notion of two different kingdoms—one of extraterrestrial origins and another of metaphysical light—is not a mainstream or widely accepted understanding; however, we will discuss this theory in detail today.

In Sumerian mythology, Enki is one of the major gods and is often associated with wisdom, magic, and the arts. He is also known as Ea in Akkadian and Babylonian mythology.
Enki is considered the god of fresh water, crafts, intelligence, and creation. While the specific concept of Enki conducting experiments in a laboratory may not be ‘specifically mentioned’ in ancient texts, interpretations and modern retellings sometimes weave creative narratives around Enki's role in shaping human existence especially as our modern understanding grows about how these mythologies might have unfolded where are they to be literally true.
According to some modern ‘ancient astronaut theory’ interpretations, Enki is portrayed as a highly evolved, rather than divine being, conducting experiments in his laboratory to create and shape humanity. These experiments involve a combination of intelligent magic, terraforming, and hybridization. Enki's laboratory becomes a symbolic space where he manipulates elements, possibly including the genetic or spiritual components of beings, to bring about the creation of humans.
In these interpretations, Enki's experiments might involve blending extraterrestrial and earthly elements to form a hybrid species with unique qualities as required and designed by the "gods". This idea is reminiscent of the role of certain gods in other mythologies who engage in the act of creation or modification of beings.

In the Sumerian myth of Enki, particularly in the verse from "Enki and the World Order," there is a clear expression of self-praise and acknowledgment of personal power. Enki, as the king of the Abzu (the underground freshwater realm), asserts his greatness and attributes his fame to his father, the king of heaven and earth, and his elder brother, the king of all lands.
The concept of the power of self-positivity in this context can be understood as Enki recognizing and celebrating his divine attributes and accomplishments. By praising himself, Enki is not only expressing confidence but also emphasizing the divine authority and abilities bestowed upon him by higher powers, symbolized by his father and elder brother.
The use of the ego as a tool of channeling a higher power suggests that Enki sees his individuality and self-awareness as a means to connect with and manifest the divine powers entrusted to him.
