In The “Gospel of Thomas” it says in verse 2: Jesus said, "Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All."

This specific verse from the Epic of Atrahasis, along with my personal perspective of the ancient astronaut theory as proposed by Zecharia Sitchin makes soooo much sense to me in light the biblical story of creation…

Verse [195] from the Epic of Atrahasis:

"Create a human being, that he bear the yoke,

Let him bear the yoke, the task of Enlil,

Let man assume the drudgery of the god."

Nintu made ready to speak,

And said to the great gods:

The ancient astronaut theory perspective:

1. "Create a human being, that he bear the yoke": This part suggests the deliberate creation of humans for a specific purpose. From the ancient astronaut theory standpoint, this could be interpreted as advanced beings from another world intervening in human evolution or creation to design a species capable of carrying out laborious tasks or bearing burdens.

2. "Let man assume the drudgery of the god": This line implies that humans were created to take on the responsibilities and tasks previously attributed to the gods, particularly Enlil. In the context of the ancient astronaut theory, this could signify that extraterrestrial beings required a workforce on Earth to carry out tasks that were once the domain of their own kind.

3. "Nintu made ready to speak": Nintu, a goddess associated with creation and childbirth in Mesopotamian mythology, could be seen as playing a role in the creation or modification of humans. In the context of the ancient astronaut theory, this might suggest that advanced beings used their knowledge and technology, possibly with the assistance of Nintu, to shape or modify human beings.

The concept of the Kingdom of God and its return can be understood in various ways, with differences emerging depending on one's religious or philosophical perspective. Two distinct interpretations are the idea of a physical, extraterrestrial (ET) Kingdom and a metaphysical Kingdom. Let's explore the stark differences between these two interpretations:

1. Physical, Extraterrestrial (ET) Kingdom:

Literal Interpretation: Some religious traditions and belief systems interpret the Kingdom of God as a physical place that will return or descend to Earth. In this view, it is often seen as a tangible realm that exists in the cosmos and will manifest itself in a way that is observable by humans.

Extraterrestrial Existence: Advocates of the ET Kingdom theory may believe that this Kingdom is situated on another planet, star, or celestial body beyond Earth. This perspective often involves the idea that advanced beings from this extraterrestrial Kingdom will come to Earth to establish a new order.

Physical Events: The return of the Kingdom in this context may be associated with physical, cataclysmic events, such as celestial phenomena or advanced technology from extraterrestrial beings reshaping the Earth's landscape and society.

Religious Prophecies: This interpretation is often rooted in specific religious prophecies, which may vary depending on the religious tradition. For example, some Christian groups believe in the literal return of Christ to establish His Kingdom on Earth.

2. Metaphysical Kingdom:

 Symbolic and Spiritual Interpretation: The metaphysical interpretation of the Kingdom of God emphasizes its symbolic and spiritual nature. In this view, the Kingdom is not seen as a physical place but as a state of being, a dimension of consciousness, or a spiritual reality.

Inner Transformation: Proponents of the metaphysical Kingdom theory suggest that the return of the Kingdom is not an external event but an inner transformation of individuals and society. It involves a shift in human consciousness toward love, compassion, and unity.

No Extraterrestrial Involvement: Unlike the ET Kingdom theory, the metaphysical Kingdom theory does not involve extraterrestrial beings or physical interventions from outside Earth. Instead, it emphasizes the potential for positive change within humanity itself.

Interconnectedness: The metaphysical interpretation often emphasizes the interconnectedness of all living beings and the idea that the Kingdom of God is already present within each individual, waiting to be realized through spiritual growth and awakening.

These interpretations are influenced by diverse religious and philosophical beliefs, and individuals may align with one perspective or the other based on their spiritual or worldview inclinations.

Drawing a direct comparison between Lord Enki from Sumerian mythology and Jesus Christ from the Christian Bible involves a creative interpretation, as these figures belong to different cultural and religious contexts. Nonetheless, let's explore this interpretation while keeping in mind that it is not a mainstream theological viewpoint and you decide what you think:

1. Title of Beloved:

   In Sumerian mythology, according to (Enki and the world order) Lord Enki is referred to as "lord of prosperity, lord of wisdom, lord, the beloved of An." He also refers to himself as “I am the first born of An” Also referring to Jesus in Colossians 1:15 “who is the image of the invisible God, first-born of all creation…”

Similarly, in the Bible, in Matthew 3:17, God's voice from heaven declares Jesus as "My Son -- the Beloved, in whom I did delight." This parallel suggests that both Lord Enki and Jesus Christ hold a special and beloved status in their respective belief systems. 

2. Associations with Wisdom:

   Lord Enki is closely associated with wisdom in Sumerian mythology. This is reminiscent of Jesus Christ, who is often seen as the embodiment of divine wisdom, as stated in 1 Corinthians 1:24, "Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God." Both figures are linked to the concept of divine wisdom.

3. Divine Affiliation:

   While Lord Enki is not explicitly described as divine in the same way that Jesus is in Christian theology, his title as "the beloved of An" suggests a divine connection. This can be loosely compared to Jesus being the Son of God in Christian belief.

4. Divine Approval and Delight:

   In Matthew 3:17, God expresses delight in Jesus as His beloved Son. Similarly, Lord Enki's title and attributes could imply divine favor and approval in the Sumerian pantheon. This common theme of divine delight and approval could be seen as a parallel.

5. Teaching and Guidance:

   Both Lord Enki and Jesus Christ are associated with providing guidance and knowledge to humanity. While their methods and teachings differ significantly, they share a role in imparting wisdom to their respective followers.

It's important to emphasize that this interpretation is my opinion and not theologically based on any particular tradition. Lord Enki and Jesus Christ are distinct figures with different roles, beliefs, and cultural contexts. Attempting to draw direct parallels between them is a creative exercise rather than an established theological viewpoint.

The following excerpt from the ‘Epic of Atrahasis’, a Mesopotamian myth that predates the biblical story of Noah's Ark. In this excerpt, we see that the gods have sent a great flood to punish humanity simply for being noisy, and the flood is so devastating that it leaves only a few survivors, including (thanks to the warning from Lord Enki) ’Atrahasis’. The gods then find themselves hungry because there are no farmers left to provide them with sacrifices.

In theory according to the myth the "secret plan" of the gods to control humanity and limit their evolution becomes clear by the actions of the gods:

Birth-pains: According to the myth the gods create birth-pains, which can be seen as a means of controlling the growth of the human population. By introducing the pain and dangers of birthing offspring, the gods ensure that not all births will be successful, thus limiting population and evolutionary growth potential.

Offspring Mortality: According to the myth the gods also introduce offspring mortality, which means that some human offspring would not survive. This further limits the growth of the human population. Offspring mortality could be seen as a way to cull the weakest or less desirable members of society, ensuring that only the strongest and fittest survive. This may be further explored in the theory of ‘survival of the fittest’.

Ritual Celibacy: According to the myth the gods may have encouraged or enforced celibacy in some form. Celibacy prevents individuals from reproducing, which again contributes to limiting population growth. It could also lead to a decrease in social bonds and connections among humans, making them easier to control.

Overall, the "secret plan" of the gods appears to be aimed at keeping humanity in check, preventing them from becoming too numerous, and ensuring that they remain dependent on the gods for sustenance and protection. By introducing pain and suffering associated with childbirth, infant mortality, and celibacy, the gods maintain control over humanity's destiny and evolution, making them more compliant and less likely to challenge the divine order. This plan serves to perpetuate the gods' authority and maintain a balance between gods and humans.

These ancient Mesopotamian myths are fascinating, and may shed some light on where we get some of our ‘moral codes of conduct’, as well as our understanding of what it means to "worship God/gods.

Could Halloween, as a holiday and cultural phenomenon, actually be a "form" in the same sense as the thought-forms discussed in "Thought-Forms" by Annie Besant and C.W. Leadbeater. The concept of thought-forms in their book pertains to the visualization of mental and emotional content taking shape in the astral or mental plane… what do you think?

In the book "Thought-Forms" by Annie Besant and C.W. Leadbeater, the authors discuss the creation and visualization of thought-forms, which are mental images or entities that represent thoughts, emotions, or intentions. The book outlines three fundamental principles that govern the formation of these thought-forms, as follows:

1. Quality of Thought Determines Colour: According to the first principle, the quality or nature of a person's thoughts is directly linked to the colors that appear in the thought-form. In other words, the emotional and intellectual content of a thought influences the specific colors that manifest within the thought-form. For example, loving and compassionate thoughts may give rise to warm and vibrant colors like red or pink, while negative or fearful thoughts may produce dark and murky colors like black or gray.

2. Nature of Thought Determines Form: The second principle posits that the nature or character of a thought shapes the form of the thought-form. Different thoughts have distinct characteristics, and these characteristics are mirrored in the shapes and patterns of the thought-forms they generate. For instance, a harmonious and peaceful thought might result in a thought-form with flowing and graceful contours, while a chaotic or fragmented thought may produce a disordered and irregular form.

3. Definiteness of Thought Determines Clearness of Outline: The third principle emphasizes the importance of the clarity and definiteness of a thought in determining the clarity of the thought-form's outline. Thoughts that are well-defined and focused will create thought-forms with sharp and distinct outlines, making them easily recognizable and impactful. Conversely, vague or unclear thoughts will result in thought-forms with fuzzy or indistinct edges, which may not convey their intended message effectively.

In summary, "Thought-Forms" describes these three fundamental principles as the foundation for understanding how thoughts are visually represented in the form of thought-forms. These principles suggest that our thoughts are not just abstract mental processes but have a concrete and visible aspect that reflects their quality, nature, and clarity. By recognizing and working with these principles, individuals can gain a deeper understanding of their own thought patterns and their impact on their inner and outer worlds.
