DWAC stock, Digital World Acquisition Corporation stock, the Trump SPAC, these are all names that refer to a planned merger between a shell company called Digital World Acquisition Corporation and the Trump Media & Technology Group. Most investors in DWAC stock don't realize that they're not actually investing in Trump's media group, or Truth Social. Until the SPAC merger closes (supposed to happen before September of 2023), they're holding shares of a shell company which are worth less than $10 a share which was ponied up for the deal. If the deal actually closes, those shares might be worth even less based on our historical analysis of technology SPACs. In the meantime, hype has drive shares of DWAC stock through the roof, mainly because people are purchasing shares of the stock for political reasons instead of thinking like investors. If you're invested in DWAC stock, or thinking about DWAC stock, you're better served leaving this speculative mess behind and starting to think about how you might become a proper and start accumulating wealth.

  • CRM Stock Analysis - Is Salesforce a Buy?

Our CRM stock analysis looks at one of the most notable growth stories the tech world has ever seen. Salesforce is the original SaaS company, so why don't they use SaaS metrics to describe their business? Who knows, but their business is becoming increasingly harder to decipher as they acquire more and more capabilities, a strategy that's led to the emergence of $48 billion of goodwill on their balance sheet. Salesforce may be the biggest SaaS company out there but they're hardly the best. Activist investors are circling as the company CEO goes on political rants and promotes divisive DEI policies. Perhaps if the activity investors can manage to clean up the mess a bit, the company might be able to start generating some serious profits for investors with their 70+ gross margins. We're passing on $CRM stock since their best days might be behind them unless they start focusing on running this more like a business instead of a charity.

  • Insider Selling Explained - Useful Signals or Noise?

Insider selling often sends signals to the stock market about how executives perceive the value of their company's shares. But be careful about analyzing insider selling without putting it into context. Firstly, we explain the difference between insider selling and insider trading. The latter involves executives who skirt the regulatory mechanisms in place that make sure executives with insider information don't exploit that information advantage. Insider buying clearly shows a bullish viewpoint on the company stock, so does insider selling denote a bearish sentiment? Not necessarily, as the most common reason insiders sell a stock is for diversification reasons. In our piece on insider trading explained, we look at how investors should analyze insider trading, and conclude that the entire thing be taken with a grain of salt in most cases. Generally speaking, insider buying and selling creates extra noise which retail investors just don't need.

  • BBAI Stock - A Big Bear Analysis

BBAI stock or BigBear.ai stock is up over 270% so far this year because of nothing but generative AI hype. You can tell because every other stock out there with AI in the name is also up in the same fashion. When AI hype affects stocks like $BBAI, it's not good for investors because the company is now more expensive while intrinsic value hasn't changed. BBAI stock may appeal to speculators trying to swing trade their way to a new zip code, but serious investors will give BigBear a hard pass. This company emerged onto the market as a SPAC that did a number of not so successful acquisitions, then missed their SPAC deck guidance by a country mile. BigBear.ai's management team can't manage the growth they guided to in their SPAC deck, and they shouldn't be rewarded for it. • IONQ Stock Update - A Hype Problem

IONQ stock has a hype problem. It's extremely overvalued compared to the other two publicly traded quantum computing stocks out there. While they have managed to achieve meaningful revenues of $11 million, and they're expecting $18 million for this year, they only have three customers accounting for most of their revenues (they don't tell us the exact amount). They also don't break down services vs QCaaS revenues, not to mention more then a third of their revenues come from a related party. We wouldn't consider investing in $IONQ stock unless they realized $50 million in revenues along with a market cap of at least $1 billion. Given their forecasted revenues of $18.6 million for 2023, we wouldn't pay more than $1.85 a share for $IONQ stock which represents a simple valuation ratio of 20. IonQ is an overpriced stock that we wouldn't consider investing in because there's just way too much hype.

  • Alphabet Stock Analysis - What Does it Really Do?

Our Alphabet stock analysis focuses firstly on what it is that Alphabet does. Sure, everyone knows about their Google search engine, but that only accounts for 58% of Alphabet's revenues (and most their income). That cash cow is being used to fund other growth areas for the company in typical BCG matrix style. We held Alphabet stock for a while, but sold shares when activists started dictating their agenda. If you're holding Alphabet shares, make sure you know what it is the company does. This Alphabet video will set you straight in understanding all areas of their business along with some predictions on how each segment might fare with the emergence of new technologies such as ChatGPT.

  • NVIDIA Stock - AI Stock With a Growth Problem

Stay informed with our free disruptive technology investing newsletter, Nanalyze Weekly. Signup now at https://www.nanalyze.com/nanalyze-weekly/. This episode is pulled from a YouTube presentation. View the original presentation at https://youtu.be/PKK59czfez8.

NVIDIA stock is up over 80% this year because of hype around generative AI. If you're investing in NVDA stock then you've probably noticed their revenue growth has stalled. The growth problem largely surrounds the drop in Gaming revenues which directly results from the pullback in cryptocurrency mining which led to a drop in demand for gaming cards which made the prices plummet. Now, NVIDIA sees their future growth coming from the emergence of generative AI where all companies will be soon building AI factories to process their data exhaust and make better decisions.
Should you buy or sell NVDA stock? Our NVIDIA stock analysis breaks it down and the accompanying research piece defines a price target at which we'd buy NVIDIA stock were we not holding it already. Investing in NVIDIA makes sense as a way to play the growth of AI, just make sure it's at a fair valuation.

  • Joby Aviation Analysis - Will Pigs Fly?

Our Joby Aviation analysis looks at how investors were promised loads of eVTOLs that will generate over $130 million in revenues next year. In reality, the first Joby aircraft is just now rolling off the production like while a pilot aircraft is flown for testing which paves the way towards eventual FAA certification. Investors in Joby Aviation stock need to accept that this company has a long way to go towards the vision of flying cars that was sold in their SPAC deck. They'll probably need to raise more capital to build out all their planned infrastructure which means either diluting existing Joby Aviation shareholders or taking on debt at unfavorable terms in today's gun shy market. $JOBY stock is one we're avoiding along with the entire eVTOL thesis until more traction is made. When the first FAA-approved Joby aircraft is flying a route with paying passengers, then we'll come around for another look.

  • Ginkgo Bioworks Stock - Not Looking Good

#Synbio darling Ginkgo Bioworks $DNA released their 2022 results along with a 10-K filing. We perused all their year-end collateral for insights, starting with a strong increase in Foundry revenues from third parties and falling related party revenues. That's the good news. The bad news is that downstream value isn't looking so hot. Royalties declined year over year, while legacy pass-through contract manufacturing increased (why? who knows). As for milestone revenues, the majority in 2021 and 2022 for Ginkgo Bioworks came from a cannabis firm developing a CBD gummy. And get this. They actually had an impairment charge because the value from those payments didn't match what they received in return. So far, the big win for DNA stock seems to be a CBD gummy. As for the Zymergen acquisition, we look at that too along with the Bayer deal which doesn't look as hot as advertised. Again, we're avoiding Ginkgo Bioworks stock until the company proves that useful products are being developed on their platform, something that's reflected in royalties. Oh, one more thing. We'd like to see cash brought in by Foundry, er, Cell Engineering, increasing over time, not decreasing. The last few slides of this Ginkgo Biworks analysis are shocking. That's right. Just like pissing on an electric fence. So what are you waiting for? Watch this DNA stock analysis now, like your portfolio returns depend on it.

Gamestop stock is popular among retail investors who somehow think they can wish themselves into wealth by cheerleading it ad infinite. GME stock is largely being held by speculators, not investors. Growth investors see the declining revenues, lack of investor communication, and desperate attempt to reinvent the business as the red flags that they are. Value investors see a company that's extremely volatile and prone to manipulation. This video on Gamestock stock explained helps investors understand why this company is fighting an uphill battle to stay relevant in the gaming industry. No amount of NFTs will solve the problems that Gamestop is dealing with - from robberies across the USA to shrinking margins, GME stock is one we'd avoid like the plague.
