This is our first VIP Patron co-hosted episode! Valerie has been at the VIP status on Patreon since we launched and we couldn’t be more thankful for her! One of the perks of being a $10 or $20 Patron is to choose a killer/topic and/or co-host the episode with us...so, thanks to Valerie; we’re discussing Nathanial White from Hudson Valley, NY.

Nathanial White is responsible for the murders of 5 women and 1 14-year-old girl during a 16-month span between 1991 and 1992. He would sexually assault, strangle, and stab his victims before dumping them. His victims, not unlike the Honolulu Strangler’s victims, varied in age and background (14-34 years old). His victims were Juliana Frank (29 years old), Laurette D. Reviere Huggins (34 years old), Adriane Hunter (27 years old), Angelina Hopkins (23 years old), Angelina Hopkins (23 years old), Christine Marie Klebbe (14 years old), and Brenda Whiteside (20 years old).

The Hololulu Strangler is responsible for the murders of 5 women between 1985 and 1986. He has yet to be caught. All victims were found with their hands bound behind their backs
sexually assaulted, strangled, but they varied in age and background (17-36 years old). His victims were Vicki Gail Purdy (25), Regina Sakamoto (17), Denise Hughes (21), Louise Medeiros (25), and Linda Pesce (36). Police thought for sure that they had their guy, but circumstantial evidence wasn't enough to hold him. This suspect ended up moving to California and died in 2005. None of these cases have ever been solved AND after some more digging/investigating for the production of a true crime show last year; there may have been at least one more victim from 1982. Additionally, the police may have had their killer, had DNA testing been an option in 1986.

Today - October 3, 2019 is #JusticeForDJDay.
As many of you may already know; I (Heather) co-host another podcast called Status Pending with Scott Fuller. DJ was the inspiration behind the entire podcast Status: Pending.
DJ's case has had such an impact on me that I want to spend my 30th birthday today, spreading the word about DJ; will you help me?
________________

On October 3, 2016, a gun went off and a 911 call was made. Responding officers find DJ shot in the face. He’s deceased. Witnesses claim someone else in the home - a one-time romantic interest of his wife Brandy’s - shot and killed DJ. Some say accidentally, some say intentionally.
Members of DJ’s family can’t believe that DJ would kill himself, and some sheriff’s detectives don’t buy the suicide. But the state’s crime lab and a medical examiner disagree. And so nobody has ever been charged with the death of Donald Edward Fickey, Jr.
Since we released the case on Status: Pending, Amanda (DJ's sister) has been tirelessly working to ensure that the GBI looks into her brother's case. She has reached out to tons of podcasters as well as YouTubers and even folks with the Investigation Discovery Channel to share her brother's story.
____________
You can sign the petition to help bring this case in front of a grand jury! This is an important step to get Justice for DJ! You can visit change.org and search for “help support justice for dj…” and the petition will populate. Your signature can help! As of today, there are 23,080 of the 25,000 goal: https://www.change.org/p/help-us-in-getting-justice-for-dj-and-his-3-babies-justicefordj (petition). You can also visit Amanda’s Facebook page called “Justice for DJ” Or reach out to her on Twitter: @JusticeForDj88 Amanda has also set up a website where you can find all of the information about DJ’s case: https://justicefordj.com/

Change your page orange for #JusticeForDJDay - Visit the Status Pending or Nature vs Narcissism Facebook page for the photos to use (or you can create your own).

**Small disclaimer - I tried to make a water sound in the intro...didn’t work out the best - oops! Oh well, it’s only a few seconds long!**

In this episode, Heather is joined again by the one and only Scott Fuller to discuss a serial killer from the Green River, Washington area. This is a killer that Heather has NEVER looked up until now. Not too sure why, other than the fact that she felt as though he was way overdone in the True Crime genre and perhaps not too fascinating. However, Scott has a way of providing information and details that will pull someone in and that’s exactly what he did here!

Gary Leon Ridgway was born on February 18, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is responsible for at least 49 murders of teenage runaways and female sex workers from 1982 until 2001 – most of these murders occurring between 1982 and 1984 though. Gary aka “The Green River Killer” has confessed to at least 71 murders but said that there very well could be more but he lost count. He is currently sitting in a cell at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla and serving 48 life sentences plus 480 years.

MURDERsode 15: Skylar Neese (with Jules)

In this episode, you'll get to hear from the artist behind our new logo, yet again! It has been a while since we’ve had a MURDERsode, so this was perfect timing for Jules dip her toe in the podcasting pool! Jules has decided to tell us about the murder of Skylar Neese. This is a tragic case; as they all are, but this case really makes me worry about the relationships that teens have with one another. Very scary stuff!

Jules will have an Instagram set up for her artwork soon!
Keep an eye out for an announcement regarding her own podcast!

In this episode, you'll get to meet the artist behind our new logo! Jules is one hell of a talented artist and one of the sweetest and funniest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! You will ADORE her! We will have a fun little chat about her art and her up and coming podcast - that hasn't been conceived quite yet, BUT she has bought the baby shoes for! Additionally, you will hear about some of the artwork that she has created for some other major podcasts!

Jules will have an Instagram set up for her artwork soon!

Heather and Rachelle have been referencing the Bill O’Reilly quote “We’ll do it live! Fuck it!” ever since Rachelle busted out this line in one of the episodes! Needless to say, it’s been an ever-present and lingering title for a future episode. Scott has jumped in and interviewed Heather about Nature vs Narcissism in this episode; LIVE (okay, kind of…)! Heather was NOT prepared for the way this episode happened and had NO CLUE what Scott was about to ask. Anyone who knows Heather, knows that she is very uncomfortable without a plan BUT she did pretty well…PLUS it was a blast! This is a really fun episode, with TONS of shout outs!
