Today’s podcast is about managing change in your life. Let’s face it, change can suck. And change can be welcomed. Even if we want to change, the process of changing itself can be arduous.
Changing your drinking isn’t easy. Especially if you’ve identified as a drinker or a lush. How do you transition into being a nondrinker or (alcohol free badass as I like to say)?
In this episode I talk about:
The last part of the episode is a conversation I had with my besties at work on my last day. I recently left my nursing career of 19 years. By choice. I didn’t anticipate how much sorrow and loss I would feel as I closed out this chapter of my life. I’m still going through the whole grieving process of leaving my role as a nurse. Suddenly, the future seems uncertain, and that’s scary. With support and feeling all the feelings (and not numbing out) we can come out on the other side of change stronger and better.
