Monday gave us a five-minute opening statement from Nebraska football Matt Rhule at his weekly media session, filled with declarative statements about his support for injured quarterback Dylan Raiola, new starter TJ Lateef and the state of the Huskers in this moment. Nebraska heads to UCLA this week, and Rhule wants to know if his guys are “in or out” on finishing this season on a strong note. 

The Huskers’ situation at offensive tackle is reason for alarm, with another season-ending surgery announced on Monday. Rhule talked more about the timeouts during the Huskers’ first drive with Lateef in command in the second half against USC. Everyone feels strongly about some part of that game.
